I'm using a Motorola I465. Thinking about getting the Android that Boost mobile offers, probably only way to get a smartphone as I'm not going anywhere near a contract nor am I paying $500 for a phone to get past the contract

That is the exact phone I've been looking at getting to replace the piece of crap I have now. I really want a phone with a slide out keyboard vice a touch screen one, I prefer having something tactile for sending text messages and what not.

Its a great phone would be better with the 1GHz processor but it works just as well with 800MHz The android store is immense and due to the keyboard all the games are playable if you map them to the keyboard

Sony-Ericsson Xperia x10 mini pro. Nifty little gadget... while it only runs Android 2.1, it works like a charm.

I still have a really old Sony Ericsson that I've had for around four years now, that can only do very limited basic stuff online (that I never use) and is only good for calls and texts. I just don't see any point in going out and getting something like an iPhone or a Blackberry when I only use my phone for calls and texts, and this one has served me well for ages (no matter how many times I've dropped it, it still works perfectly well).

I have the latest iPod Touch anyway, that basically does everything an iPhone would do aside from the actual 'phone' parts, which my actual phone covers anyway, so there's no problem. The only downside I can think of is very limited Wifi coverage since you have to pay for minutes for most of the 'free' Wifi hotspots in my city, I only get free Wifi at university or home, though that doesn't bother me so much...

I want smart phone or at least a smart-er phone...
