For me, it's a no brainer, After Earth with Will Smith, it looks so good and... Ahaha, I jest of course, I am STOKED for Man of Steel. It looks to be even better than Superman 2(which really isn't that hard, Margo Kidder ruins those movies). I also want to see Star Trek and World War Z. But Man of Steel is by far the most anticipated.

In any case, it looks to be a great year for fan favorites!

And if you have something that is in the less known variety, post a trailer up in here.

Edit: Took The Wolverine out of the poll, no one wants to see that haha. Replaced it with the Hobbit.

Pacific Freakin' Rim. I mean, have you seen latest trailer?! There's a giant monster that gets hit in a face with a tanker used as a sword. WHAT THE FUCK ELSE DO YOU NEED?!

Also, World War Z. I haven't read the original, but the whole idea of turning usual zombies into some sort of Arachnids from StarShip Troopers seems really compelling to me.

I'm intrigued the most by Man of Steel. Not saying it's going to be the bestest movie of the year or that I'm super excited for it, but it's the most intriguing movie. I wonder what kind of take they'll have on Superman and how will they succeed in making him an interesting character. After Superman Returns I feel the next Superman movie must either go spectacularly right or spectacularly wrong, and I'd love to see that.

I'm signed on World War Z as well, though I'm a little weary of zombies at this point. Already saw Iron Man 3 - fun movie, nothing really special about it except it has a more comical take on the franchise. And again about the over-exposure, I'm tired of the MARVEL boys.

Someone actually spotted J.J. Abrams in that trailer and now there are speculations that it might be some sort of Cloverfield sequel or alternate take on it.

I've already seen Iron Man 3 (awesome BTW) so now I'm most looking forward to Man of Steel. Those trailers have got me so freaking hyped!

Also Thor: The Dark World as I love the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and Pacific Rim because its giant mechs fighting giant monsters. What's not to like?

I didn't see an option for ALL OF THEM!

This is seriously going to be one great summer for films! I have nothing but high expectations for these films and I only hope that they live up to all the hype or at best turn out to be decent films.

Pacific Rim, because giant robots, giant monsters, Ellen McLain and Gullermo del Toro, I'm watching it first day, I don't care if I have to blow off work to see it, after that Man of Steel, don't even know why but I finf that exiting and intriging, then Thor, mostly because I loved Christopher Eccleston as the 9th Doctor and I know he's in that movie, really I'm only exited for that movie because of him.

As much as I'm looking forward to most of that list, except Iron Man 3 which I saw last week. It's got to be Pacific Rim. Everything Del Toro has said makes me think that he's got this with regards to the appropriate level of cheese.

I am currently at the point where I am excited for TOO MUCH... and now I am kinda turned off by it all. I cannot prioritise it enough, so I am just going to go with the flow.

I hadn't heard of Pacific Rim though, so will check that out. Sounds like my kinda thing!

I am disappointed with the options so I had to go with 'other'. No The Hobbit or The World's End? For shame.

The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. C'mon, it's gonna have a Dragon in it, and a WETA designed Dragon at that.

It's between Man of Steel and Pacific Rim for me. A tough call, but as much as I love robots the size of skyscrapers beating the crap out of Godzilla, I love Superman more. And I have to say, as great as Pacific Rim looks, pretty much every other film coming out this year has just been white noise since the most recent trailer for Man of Steel.

The new movie by the guy that made Drive, which also features Ryan Goslin. And Ultraviolence. Can't really get much better than that.
Then there is the next part of the Hobbit-Trilogy to look forward to, which will hopefully be as good as the last one, if not better, because DRAGON, and I am also looking forward to the Great Gatsby, seeing as it's based on my favourite book and features Jack White in the trailer.

Man of Steel is a must-see as well, but the other superhero movies don't really tickle my fancy anymore. I have grown up with Superhero blockbusters, the first one being Sam Raimi's Spiderman (honestly, I liked the reboot better) and by now I would like something a bit different for a change.
Yes, we still get some non-superhero blockbusters, but as far as I know, they will continue to dominate the cinematic landscape for quite some time still.

I voted Star Trek, that said I'm also dreading it... Is it just me or do all of the trailers make it look like its basically 24 in space? Dont get me wrong, it still looks great, but id like my Star Trek to have...well...more stars?

Pacific Ring is a close second though, I saw the trailer for the first time watching Iron Man 3, and me and my girlfriend both looked at each other and raised our eyebrows after seeing it lol.

Only God Forgives. It's probably the only upcoming film I'm really excited about atm. It's another Nicolas Winding Refn/Gosling collaboration.

The Last Ferry.

I'm not sure if it's coming out this year, or ever in fact. But from this trailer, it looks amazing. There's very little news on it, other than a 3min trailer and a list of the cast.

Not even sure what it's about - old Liverpudlian taxi driver gets beaten by teenage scum, him and his old mates show said teenagers how its done. It looks atmospheric and very Scouse, what more do you need? And Stephen Graham too!

Pacific Rim looks fucking great fun though. Thanks for alerting me to that :D

edit: ok so the embed option on the site didnt work, but the link is good. Check it out! Might not be up everybody's street though.

Had to check that out, as I bloody love Bronson and Drive (who doesn't love Drive?!)

Looks fantastic, and horribly brutal. Will absolutely have to see that.

I know it's a ways away but I have to go with The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.
