Win 7 64 bit on my BEAST ASS gaming rig. Mac OSX is hilarious to me, really hi tech looking, but engineered and marketed toward people with little to no technology expertise. So cute.
But yeah Win7... might dual boot Linux if I think I need it... maybe.

Win7. I think Mac people are funny, because the OS is really designed to look hi tech, but is actually marketed toward and built for people with little to no technology expertise. Honestly kind of cute... like a fisher-price toy. But I digress... Win7, yeah.

Win 7 Ultimate 32 bit. Been using it since around November of last year and more or less loving it. My sound card is obsolete to Win 7 so I have to use hacked 3rd party drivers for it but otherwise everything else works great. About the same performance as I had on the same machine running XP Pro.
I've tried using Linux as my main OS a few times in the past but it's never lasted for more than a few days before I end up back in Windows. I've never really been able to get comfortable with the way it handles mostly because it is open source and there are thousands of programs all made to do the same task and finding the best tool for the job is a pain in the ass.
Also gaming in Linux is a pain in the ass because you have to find some way of emulating Windows which just eats up more resources so why waste the time other than to be some sort of OS snob with some sort of complex against paying "The Man" for an OS that works consistently.
Not that Linux is entirely bad, it does have it's place and that place is running servers, which is something that it does very well. I really miss my Linux server. *sniff* Maybe someday I'll see you again. *sniff* *cry*

'Course Windows is going to be dominant, but why the hell is Ubuntu a separate option from Gnu/Linux?
Mac OS X. I'd use Windows if Windows didn't suck big hairy donkey kongs.... well, at least it does for me. I don't care either way. My computer was free, so I use a Mac.
It's because Mac is generally frowned upon in the gaming community. The only computer game for it is WoW and Starcraft, really. Most of the other games are usually published and/or distributed by Microsoft... so that might explain a few things.Mariakitten said:
