So, what OS do you use and why? Pretty straight forward.

I use Linux Mint and windows 7

I primarily use windows 7 because it's useful for school and I'm a PC gamer.I installed Linux mint because It was midnight, I couldn't sleep and I had a blank DVD. When I woke up, finished cleaning the drool off my desk and actually used it, I was pleased.

why are the polls trolling?

Windows 7, 64-bit. I am actually quite pleased with it. My last OS was Vista so, well... yeah. Wasn't expecting much from 7. I was actually pleasantly surprised when I started using it. Works infinitely better than Vista ever did.

Windows 7 on my laptop. iOS 4.1 on my iPhone because I'm too lazy to update and keep all my extra settings.

Windows 7 on my stationary computer and Xubuntu on my really crappy laptop. If I could be arsed to fiddle with Wine I'd put Ubuntu on my stationary too, but I'm not that good with computers.

Win7Ultimate 32 on master PC (Will be "upgrading" to Win7Home 64 just as soon as I can finish "storing" my vital files

Linux MINT+wine in virtualization On above Win7 master PC

Win 8DP on Semi abandoned digital editing PC

Win XP:Black- Corp edition Audio studio PC

Win Xp: Black - CorpOn Ancillary media PC

Win7 Home64 - Laptop (although preparing to migrate over to Linux Mint+wine soon.

Linux Debian: Heavily neutered - Overclocked and reFlashed Caanoo.

Seriously, not quite as simple as it might seem... Either that or I just overcomplicated the shit out of it.

Linux OpenSUSE on both my boxes. No Windows whatsoever, I can run all the games I want fine under Steam under Wine, or natively (Minecraft), or on one of my consoles. I don't know why people still use Windows, I guess Win7 is honestly much better than Vista, but that's like saying Nickelback is much better than Justin Bieber, it doesn't really mean much.

I'm a little ashamed to admit I'm still using Leopard on my computer. Oh, and I have a really old copy of XP on here for a program I needed to use for a class last year. I have no idea why I still have that other than lazy.

OS X 10.6 - Snow Leopard, and Windows 7. I don't want to upgrade my Snow Leopard to Lion until I'm sure that they've ironed out the bugs, and even then, I'm not sure if there are really enough features to make it worth it.

As for Windows 7, I just recently upgraded from Vista, and now I'm super pissed with myself for not having done so earlier.

Windows 7 and Ubuntu Linux. Windows for playing games and UDK Linux for any programming. Hooray for command lines!

Windows 7 Professional, 64-Bit, Baby!
Actually I hate it. the aero thing hurts my eyes to look at, so I actually have it in windows classic mode all the time. I only use it over, say, XP so I can play DX10 games.
