Poll: What Platform Are You Getting Skyrim On?

Here's a question for you, Escapists: I know that you're all excited for Skyrim to come out. For those of you buying it, what platform are you going to get it for?

I ask this because of the mods. It's utterly inconceivable to get a Elder Scrolls game on console, where mods are very difficult to install. After all, most of the fun is in the modding, right?

I personally could not give less of a damn about Skyrim, which is odd since I loved Morrowind. Perhaps it's Hype Backlash. Who knows?

However, I am curious whether modding is still as big a part of the game as I remember. So, what's your poison?

EDIT: Okay, so maybe this thread has been done five or ten times because the search bar bugged out on me and came up with zilch. Make of that what you will.

PC. Mods, better graphics, it will likely run better than on a console too (Discounting all the bugs that the mods I get will fix) considering the level of hardware I have is FAR above what is needed for max settings.
That and I hate consoles controls and how they have to be plugged into a TV.

The PS3. No way I'm getting it for Xbox and PC would not be able to run it. I wish I could mod the PS3 version.

And the reason I'm not getting it for Xbox is that 1 month early DLC is never a good reason to by a $250-300 system that I would use as a costar
Do not quote me Xbox fan boys telling me otherwise because $250 system or 5-50 games,
What do you think I would chose?

Wasn't it the ps3 that could run mods pretty simple? Think you just had to load it up on a USB stick and then use that and the mod would work(Should probably research this a bit yourself since I only read it in a haste).

OT: PC, faster to install mods and will run better.

PS3. Yes, I know I don't get mods. Yes, I know that the game was designed on the 360. I'm still getting it on the PS3.

PS3, since it's the only system I own that can run the game...
Though I would get it on PC if I had a good one.

Oh I agree, PS3 all the way.

My 360's disc drive is such shit I'm lucky if I can play a game for an hour without fiddling with the damn thing. Did I mention the fan is loud as fuck too?

PS3? It hasn't done me wrong yes....except when it got stolen. But then I got another one!

And I wonder why they didn't steal the Wii or the 360.... ;)
If someone wants to get a new console they should know,
A louder one while playing games(Xbox360)
or
One that has a Instal for more games on one disk(PS3)

I'm not getting it right away for two reasons, 1.) this will be my first game in this series. (Scrolls? Oblivion? Whatever). 2.) target usually drops $20 dollars off of new and popular games during the holidays so I'm waiting till i get the motherload for myself this christmas.

Games I'm going to buy:

Uncharted 3, Sonic Generations, Skyward Sword, MW3 (already have BF3), God of War 3, Skyrim for the PS3 because I'm not that into PC's and my Xbox is going to become bulemic in order to get more space.

PS3.
Would get it on PC, but since I'm an achievement whore I need my trophies. Not sure my PC would be able to handle Skyrim anyways.

PS3 for me. All about the rumble feature :p, well that and that I'd be running it on a partitioned laptop that's already stretched for space on the PC side.

I don't mind though, mods are great and all but I like to see games stand on their own merits.

PC and 360.

Yeah, that's right. I'm getting one for both the 'glorious pc master race' AND a copy for a 'lowly console', because if I can't get my PC to run it for some reason, I'll be damned if I'm going back to the store.

(Also, I'm getting the 360 version as the collectors edition.)

I'd love to get it on PC, but my Xbox is just going to get better performance and graphics.
