Yeah, this one is easy. The PC of course:
1. The controls will be better on the PC
2. Reading in game books, scrolls, etc will work better on the PC
3. The graphics (assuming you have a good card) will be better on the PC.
4. There will be lots of user content created whic you only be able to play with on the PC

I have a hard time thinking of any reason to by it on anything other than the PC as long as you own one that is powerful enough to play it.

Well, PC.
It needs to be said over and over just to spite console gamers:
1. Better Graphics
2. Mods
3. Better controls
4. Faster Patching

Finally
5. It shows of my thousand dollar gaming rig that makes your xbox/ps3 look like a graphing calculator.

Honestly I was going to wait until it dropped in price, but I got bored today and saw it on steam and impulse bought it.

So PC I suppose.

pc, obviously..
18 times faster load speeds off my ssd array
higher resolution, possibly higher frame-rate
more graphical details, 32xqaa and 16 af for the 0 jaggies and awesome textures
super hd sound with my audiophile grade headset and sound-card
g13 pad and a mouse, which is the cookie cutter for character control

the only thing i'm buying for consoles is exclusives, silly little games and things on offer
and for the record, i do have two consoles.. but not the two you might imagine :p

I would totally buy it on the PC if my computer wasn't a piece of shit. I love Morrowind's modding community to death and I really hope they get the dlc-mod-thing up on the 360. ^_^

PC. Mods, better graphics, it will likely run better than on a console too (Discounting all the bugs that the mods I get will fix) considering the level of hardware I have is FAR above what is needed for max settings.
That and I hate consoles controls and how they have to be plugged into a TV.
one thing i'd like to point out, i play my Xbox through VGA cables hooked into my High Def computer monitor. i've done it like this for the past... 5 years, because it looks better.

I enjoy PC gaming, but it costs too much to keep upgrading a rig to meet higher and higher standards. I like the standardized console setup, it's simpler that way.

PS3.
Would get it on PC, but since I'm an achievement whore I need my trophies. Not sure my PC would be able to handle Skyrim anyways.

It is very strange to say that you are an achievement whore and therefore want it for the PS3. I know what you mean, but it is still funny

Also, steam has achievements for the PC these days. SO if you need that pop up at the buttom of the screen telling you that you've done well, you can get it from the PC.

**EDIT** WOOT Skyrim has finally finished preloading. Now I just need to wait for it to unlock. then I have to patch it. (you'd think they could go ahead an patch it now while I am waiting for it to unlock, its not like I need to be running the game for them to update the files.

Xbox first. Then in a year or so when they release the GOTY edition that has all the DLC goodies included and the mod community has had time to make some cool stuff, I'll pick up a PC copy.

As some have said, if I do get it, it'll probably end up being on the Xbox. I recently had my PC up and die on me and the temporary replacement a relative helped me get isn't quite up to handling something like.. I dunno.. ANYTHING released this year. It has 2 GB max RAM (it can't handle more), either.

Until I can build a proper PC (when I win the lotto or someone throws money at me, or, you know, get someone to fucking hire me), I'll just stick with what'll work.

Actually, it won't even be MY copy, either. If I play it on the Xbox, it'll be my cousin's copy. :p

My PC would barely be able to run it and mods hold little appeal to me anyway. Once I'm done playing the game as the developers designed it, I doubt I'll have any interest in trying out whatever mods get created. I'm the same way with DLC in most games.

Excellent, now I just need to figure out how to get a mouse and keyboard to work well on a console, and have them have an OS that is designed for keyboard and mouse, and I will be right for considering consoles a very crap computer.

And you don't HAVE to upgrade, just run the games on the lowest settings. Hell, my six year old computer ran stuff on Highest settings, with the exclusion of course of the arbitrary direct X11 that there wasn't even any options for in all bar one of the games I bought. Back then it cost me $1000, now it would probably cost 1-200 :p
