Poll: What sci-fi/fantasy universe would you want to live in?

The Cultureverse. None of the others even begin to match up - unless I was still stuck on Earth, and then I'd have just messed up big time by dumping myself back to the 70s. But I'm assuming if the Star Wars universe transports you to a long time ago in a galaxy far away then by opting to live in the Cultureverse I'll also probably be sufficiently transported.

Out of those? Mass Effect for certain. Then LOTR and then Halo.

Mass Effect's is my favourite fictional Universe of all time, it's like Star Wars but interesting (joke).

LOTR is interesting enough, although if you go by the books, everybody happen to dick's for some reason, so I am not sure it'd be the place to go really.

Halo is pretty cool but the odds of dying are likely, even if you are a 7 foot tall cyborg with heavy armour and lightning reflexes, so it would be a short stay.

LOTR definitely. Would love to be either a Dwarvern or Gondorian army commander.

No one said anything about changing profession.
Most of these world would suck to be in, unless you are trained in combat using that worlds weapons.

We are talking about a hypothetical fantasy situation. I think in our own minds we can be whatever the hell we want.

Final Fantasy. I don't like the games, but the majority of people in the game aren't affected by the wars and main storylines.

Halo? Most of Earth got glassed.
Starcraft? You're kidding me. Everything dies, everywhere.
Mass Effect? Not terrible. Until ME3 rolls around and uh, everyone dies.
Repeat ad nauseum. This is assuming of course that if you were ported into these worlds, with the overwhelming odds that you'd end up a nobody and not an imperial commander directing troops from some orbital station in a comfortable chair.

In ME i would be the craziest biotic. In LOTR def wanna be a human. Maybe even go to a gundam universe because driving a giant super-robot could be nothing less than awesome. I'd def want to try out WoW though. It would be interesting to see how it feels to revive myself...
