Poll: What sequel should come out of Sega next?

As the title says, what should they give us more of now? For the most part, people are losing faith in the Sonic franchise, Sega should probably give their flagship hedgehog a break for a few year and let the demand come back. That being said, which game would do you think Sega should focus on for a bit to churn out some gold?

I'm voting for Universe at War for two reasons:
1. It hinted like nobodies business that there would be a squeal, what with the title saying UNIVERSE at war, the fact that it had a sub title (usually a hint in itself, citing Pirates of the Caribbean), and various plot holes that were labeled "insert squeal here".
2. It was probably one of the most gratifying and unique RTS game's I've played in years (excluding SC2). Every race playing in a radically different way, which in itself is getting more and more rare (SC2 might have different ways to do some things unique to it's faction, but at their core they are all the same). This resulted in you having almost limitless ways to approach a problem, and endless hours of considering different ways to handle certain situations. Of course it's realistic attack engine wasn't disappointing either (trick a walker into spinning it's head and it was almost invulnerable).

Don't misinterpret this as a "drop all others for this" thread, as I can enjoy total war from time to time. It's simply in regards of what you'd like to see Sega put out next.

Reform Smilebit internally and remaking Panzer Dragoon and Jet Set Radio... though that is just some distant fantasy.

While it wasn't Sega who developed it initially, they have since absorbed it as their own.

'Gain Ground', an Arcade game ported to the Sega Megadrive (Genesis) and beyond. It even appeared in modernised graphics in the 'Sega Ages' collection, but was only released in Japan.
And the music from the first stage made an appearance on the 'Segarock' music collection in 2004.

I would love, LOVE to see a new iteration of Gain Ground. Perhaps with two gameplay modes too, a classic mode which is the top-down arcade action fans know and love from the game. And a new perspective, perhaps in the vain of the 'Star Wars: Battlefront' games, with your team against the enemy army in glorious 3D rendered combat.

Just a thought there, just a thought.
And a hope.

Jet Set Radio, easily. I mean it's a fantastically original concept, it was only copied by one game, a lesser know, very horrible game by Marc Ecko. It had some of the best music I've ever seen in gaming, it made cel-shading, and had an awesome style to it.

Though in all honesty, as much as I'd love to see a new Jet Set Radio. I'd much rather prefer them to go a new property. I mean they're last was Bayonetta and that wasn't half-bad. Sega still has a lot of potential after being beaten into the ground for the last decade.

Yay Sonic ._____.

No seriously, let's just wait how Shogun fares. Also, I'm not really a fan of sequels per se, I wouldn't mind if they'd pick up a new little IP :D

I think Universe at War is just plain dead... didn't sell enough copies or summat.

I'd say SEGA needs to focus on new IP, not sequels. It doesn't have quite enough well-known franchises (outside of Total War) to sustain itself on sequels, and it doesn't have the hardware front that Sony, Nintendo, and MS do.

Where's my next Gunstar game at?

They had one sequel on the GBA. Bring Gunstar into 3D!

A sketchy remake of the original Sonic the Hedgehog... in 3D.
With actual voiced text and a bad dub.
That will destroy your childhood memories!

Or a new Universe at War.
I probably wouldn't get it because I'm too busy with Minecraft and Starcraft.

They ARE making a new valkyria chronicles, can I pick that? also they're releasing 3 new yakuza games. They have more episodes to go on the new sonic... I think they have enough on their plate.

They've already run poor Sonic's little legs ragged. I've never been over fond of RTS' and Phantasy Star long had its day before 'Universe'. They need something new, something more solid. I think they were brave with Resonance of Fate and should consider something similar in method. Creating an interesting battle/leveling system like that then just filing it away would be very sad.
