Poll: What should i buy, EVE or WoW?

Neither, they're both terrible games with absolutely no point and minimal fun. If you play WoW You'll be playing a game with a community where it's 50% assholes and trolls, and 50% whiny cunts. Both sides suck, both sides are annoying and both sides will try to tell you how to play the game even though they've never played your class and never will and you're forced to play with and rely on these useless dicks. You'll be pigeon holed into either raiding or pvping in the arenas even if you don't want to, neither is balanced and both stop being fun after the first three times. The game is the definition of repetition. Know what your reward for completing a grind in that game is? MORE GRINDING.

OT: from what ive heard, EVE sucks. Don't play WoW though, for your life will be gone.

EVE, because if money is your main concern EVE becomes free to play after you start making enough ISK.

I've played both eve and wow, and after taking a break in each I'm still heading back to eve. Eve doesn't spoon feed you very much and you end up taking out of it what you put in.

That is to say, if all you want to do is sit in safe space and mine by your self, you can and it will be boring. If you join a corp, (guild) you can easily meet like minded people and find what part of the game you like; pirate, miner, mission runner etc... or you can do all 3.

In wow I got to lvl 60, felt ontop of the world and then realized there was nothing left to do but twiddle my thumbs. You spend all that time grinding for gear and then it means nothing.

At Least in eve if your really bored you can shoot an ally or something and start a giant war or atleast interesting drama. Although hilarious does result in consequences that might last a while in game. The environment doesn't stagnate much as because there is always some sort of drama going on causing wars.

As a retired WoW-veteran I'd say EVE.
In my opinion WoW was better "back in the days"

The two are vastly different and WoW have a spooky abillity to consume all your free time, something I don't felt EVE doing.

If you go for WoW wait for the next expansion, ah yes witch reminds me - EVE have free expansions, something WoW doesn't.

On a side note you could try Sta Trek Online, wich is what I'm currently is playing.
I'd say you almost have to be part trekkie to like it tho.

EVE is an incredibly indepth and unique game. If you played the trial and the asnwer isn't obvious already it's probably not for you. granted things are much different once you've played for about a year and you get into a large player alliance with a capital ship fleet.

EVE... Well, I never played it, but judging from the news you hear now and than it is something that would make overly emotional people commit suicide. (all those hostile takeovers and sabotages... brrrr... that game just creeps me out...)

EVE certainly requires you to "HTFU". If you can't handle losing what you've earned you're best not even starting.
