Poll: What should I get as my first tattoo?

Don't just get a tattoo for its own sake. It's going to say something about you no matter what, so you should think of what you want that message to be. Otherwise, the message is "I play video games, make brash decisions, and have disposable income."

If you're dead set on getting one, design it yourself. Or take something you really like and personalise it a bit. A good tattooist should be able to handle your request (and yes, you do need to see a good tattooist, even if he/she has a waiting list).

Haven't got one myself (yet) but I did a lot of research and spent years thinking about the design and everything. But yeah depends whether you just want to get one or whether you want it to mean something. Not everyone's as level headed as me regarding this.

i'd highly suggest against any game-related tatoos. remember: tatoos last forever. when your 50 is this gonna be one of those decisions you'd consider good? dont get me wrong, im not against tatoos. if i can figure out what i want i will get one. but im pretty sure my uncle isnt happy with his 'flounder' tatoo.
