I'm on more than one networking website, but I never use them so a bit pointless really.

None. Had facebook, and decided I didn't actually use it for anything. Now I just talk to people. Either in person, on the phone, or through IM. Real time conversations are where it's at man!!!

Oh, and email for when people go on vacations and trips

I find them irrelevant when there are superior forms of communication over the internet. It's simply taking old ideas of internet communication and shoehorning them into a bunch of sites with messy layouts. Those old forms of internet communication, and the ones which are yet to follow, would presumably be a lot better than the sites we have now. The older ones are more personal, notably.

not sure i fully agree with you, the likes of irc was rather not personal, sure you could chat with a person but frankly most people were lying about themselves on there. other stuff like icq and msn were really made for talking with friends with random people adding you to spam you

the newer social sites are actually better and more honest and open about who the person is. so i'd posit that the newer sites are actually more personal than older forms of communication

Myspace. My beautiful girlfriend is there and is the only reason I go.
