Due to the extremely high amount of superhero films coming out in 2011 and 12 I am curious about which people want to see most. I want to see the new Captain America film most. I really like the hero and there are some really good actors in the film.

Iron Man 3, but I doubt that that is going to be released any time soon since it's plot is dependant on the Avenger films.

ol cappy american has my vote, I love World war 2, so to see a superhero during that timeframe (For however long they show that part) will be AWESOME.

There's maybe a bit of irony here, since I'm canadian, but I'm seriously looking forwards to the Cap film. Everything I've seen so far looks badass, and I like Chris Evans' work a lot (barring Fantastic Four).

I am going to say Captain America until I hear about a film with Gambit (from X-men) as the main protagonist. Essentially that movie will be awesome if it is the worst funded and handled movie as long Gambit is in it[footnote]well, Gambit has to be written as a smug(I don't think that is the right word) guy from the bayou who blows things up by touching them and fights with a staff.[/footnote].

Definitely needed the qualifying statement there...that's the only serious (well, you know what I mean) role I've seen in him in, and didn't exactly fill me with confidence he could ever take on the role of an incredibly well-known superhero ever again.

OT: Really? Honestly? The only one I am genuinely that excited about is The Dark Knight Rises and that's not out till next year.

Green Hornet involves Seth Rogen, I'm British and so Cap'n America doesn't interest me, Green Lantern looks bland, Spider-Man should not exist, Thor's a possibility (if only to get clued in before The Avengers) and you forgot Iron Man 3.

To be fair, Evans was not the problem with Fantasic Four. He nailed the human torch pretty well. They were just really goddamn terrible movies, and no one actor could have saved them.

But he was very good in Push and about seven kinds of awesome in Scott Pilgrim. He knows how to play a role, when to turn on the camp, and how to avoid going over the top. I'm really looking forward to it.

I mean, COME ON:

This year: The Avengers.(if that is in fact coming out this year) I never really liked Capt. America. I really, really hope the Green Lantern, Thor and Conan are good too though. Man what a great time to be a classic comic book fan.
Next year: Spiderman 4

I want to see a decent Cap movie. That 90´s lick was horrible and someone has to redeem it.It might as well be Chris Evans and Hugo Weaving. Green Lantern also looks promising if they spend a decent amount of time in Oa.

Deadpool, all the way.

Please, for the love of God, don't screw this one up.

Avengers is 2012.

Even though it's not yet official, I put "other" because of Deadpool. I don't mind them keeping Ryan Reynolds as long as they give him the outfit and make it just 100%, true, unadulterated Deadpool. Other than that. Either Thor or Lantern. For some reason I'm feeling Reynolds. He likes them comics and it kinda shows.

EDIT: Ninja'd by 2 min. Damn.

Green Hornet. I'm a retro geek who actually goes back to watch that sort of stuff. I'm sure the movie will suck, but hey a bad movie is often more entertaining than a good one, even if it is for all the wrong reasons.

Pretty much most of them, I'm definitely interested in the Green Lantern film, because the characters actually look like they do in the comics and I jsut generally like Green Lantern.

I definitely want to see The Dark Knight Rises whenever that comes out, the Nolanverse Batmans are the best superhero films I've yet to see.

I'm planning on seeing Thor and Captain America films too, I like the characters though my gut tells me the films won't be that good, the Thor trailer didn't excite me due to low amounts of hammer action.

I've only vaguely heard of the Green Hornet, but in all honestly I'll probably watch it anyway, though Seth Rogen looks rather miscast for such a character, unless the comics themselves are comedic.
