Fag/******.

I find the use of the word offensive. Being gay should be used as an insult. Making innuendo's about someone's sexuality can be funny (call me a hypocrite if you like), but it should not be used as an insult. For example, if I said of a butcher 'I like his meat', that would be funny. If I got into an argument with someone, and the words gay/fag started flying around, that would not be appropriate.

Fag/******. Not so much the word itself, but the sort of person who calls someone a fag is invariably some form of douchebag.

Seconded! Partially because its just the most basest thing you can call a woman. Partially because there is no real male equivalent to it. And Partially because it sounds and feels way so many types of wrong out of the mouth.

Otherwise I would have to say the word moist. It doesn't matter the context behind it, I feel like I need a shower when someone speaks that word out loud.

I would never write a network though, I'm not that big of a git.

I dont demonize swearing (Otherwise, Captain Hypocrite is on the scene) but c**t sounds so... dark. Especially when people really shout it or yell it. It's so... cringy.

Pretty much any other swear I use jokingly around my friends, calling them "stupid fucks" and whatnot (hey, I'm a nice guy normally) but c**t just crosses the line.

Oh, and seeing Justin Bieber made me lol. I might use that one.

None of those really, i swear like a sailor myself most likely it'd be people getting mad at me for swearing rather than the other way around :p And before anyone asks, no i do not swear cause it's cool, it just comes naturally, part of my language.

I'm not offended by any swears. I have no reason to care what that person thinks about me.

No swear words truly affect me. They are just words, and we ourselves give meaning to them. If someone said 'tree' instead of 's***', but used it in the same context, with the same tone, it would be just as offensive (not very, these things never affect me, I am too stubborn to let them), and much more funny. F***, S*** and C*** (To a lesser extent) are becoming commonly used words to convey greater feeling behind the word (I've forgotten what the word for that is, but the effect is similar to putting an exclamation mark after a word). Not even racial slurs mean that much to me, so long as they are not used in a derogatory manner, but more in the style that you see them sometimes used in movies (E.G: Black guys walking up to each other and saying 'Wassup N****!')
I voted Justin Bieber as that is my personal Voldemort; He/She? who shall not be named. Anyone who says that in my presence will promptly receive a backhander to the face for bringing such an offensive topic up.

I don't think its so much certain cusses so much as how often they are said. I'd say fuck drives me nuts simply because a lot of people string every 3 words together with it.
I agree completely. I'm not personally offended by any of them, but the rampant use of this word is both annoying and detracts from any points being made by the speaker.

The word with the most impact seems to be c**t in my area. It is very seldom said and is often associated with genuine emotion, rather than being thrown around in conversation.

I always think a sentence based on true negative qualities a person has is worse than any swear word, though **** is considered pretty bad.

Offense? Ha! I laugh at your silly attempts to hurt my feelings asshat! In australia (or at least where I live) nobody really gives a flying fuck about swearing. we're all pretty lax about it. Although it does kinda annoy me when people misuse or overuse swear words. Then again it annoys me when people do that with any kind of word so that just makes me a langauge snob.

None.

I really don't understand why people get so offended with 'swear words' lots of words offend people, depending how you use them.

None offend me, they're just words but what annoys me is the use of gay as something bad!

I think it's fair not to be inherently offended by swears, but there are certain words you should avoid simply to avoid social blowback. I mean, I don't find nakedness offensive, but I'm not whipping out my dick in public either.
