Adding an extra dimension would be horirble to the game and just make it like every other level editor only more complicated and not target casual AND hardcore gamers, just hte hardcore. Plus, it's more of a 2.5D :p
Your right Hardcore gamers don't like 3D FPSes as seen in the terrible sales of COD4 and Halo 3. LBP isn't that casual you need to use the PS3 controller to play it which is confusing to most casual players (like my mom and your mom and alot of the wii's target auidence which owns the casual market). We will see if the LBP really does appeal to all out sell Halo 3/COD4/Mario and Sonic go to the Olympics
Fine, and at the top 20 levels you'll see is my very own Shadow Moses Island level! BRING IN OOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!

Theres a better one in Brawl. Even has a realstic looking Snake and doesn't need to worry about Nintendo/Sega Copyrights.

Lately my ps2 probably, although i do own a Wii and a 360, there hasn't been many games i've wanted on those two consoles recently(No actually for the Wii there hasn't been many games i've wanted since launch... I still only own 3 official games for it, even though i've had the console since launch. :x Been playing alot of older games which i never completed on the ps2, quite a few of them are imports from america...

Mind you, theres alot of games comming out this Autumn, so i'll probably be back playing my 360 again then.

But does that level have a moving Metal Gear trying to destroy you so you won't get there? And does the level take you through the locker rooms and try to hide in one of the lockers so the enemy will walk past you? And does it have a Penis-shaped Volcano? I think not.

Bioshock and Prince of Persia are both on the Ps3. It also has inFAMOUS, LA Noire, LittleBigPlanet, Resistance 2, Motorstorm : Pacific Rift, Gran Turismo 5, Killzone 2 (have you seen the multiplayer footage?), the next Ico project, Heavy Rain, Massive Action Game, White Knight Chronicles, and more. Any one of these would act as justification.
I don't think any of the games you suggested would justify a purchase of a PS3. I've seen some videos of some of these games (Killzone 2 multiplayer, LBP) and they don't look too good. I have played the first Resistance and I really didn't like it. It just felt like every other FPS I have played. I have only seen footage of Little Big Planet's world customization and that looked boring. That being said, the singleplayer might be good I just haven't bothered to look at it. Killzone 2's multiplayer just looked 'pretty', it didn't amaze me it was just pretty. The gameplay didn't look that interesting.
Also, that Massive Action Game, is that the one with 256 player online? If it is, I think it sounds stupid. That is too many people for online matches, and I doubt it will end well.

I voted Xbox 360, because it is the system I prefer. The PS3 may have better graphics and more exclusive games, but quite frankly I don't give one. I'm going to stick with my Xbox no matter what because all my friends also own one and I prefer the controller.

I want to see you do that (Where you going to get a Metal Gear model?) And the Brawl level has Snake and MGS music :p

I guess I like the PS3 more then the others is because of the free online play(even though I have live for the 360), and I have more fun games for my PS3. Oh, and I like the controller more then the 360's.

The only reasons I can think of to buy a PS3 are MGS4 and maybe God of War 3. But even then, 360 is way more worth it. Gears of War, Bioshock, Mass Effect, Fable 2, Prince of Persia, etc. I know most of them are available for PC, but I prefer the controller. Less carpal tunnel and less money out of my wallet lol.
Pretty much this, FTW.

Wii.
Out of this generation, it has the games I'm most interested in.
Plus backwards compatibility with Gamecube
Plus Virtual Console

What more could I ask for?

I'm an 'All of the above' kinda guy... I like to try out all different kinds of games across different platforms, since to own a single console simply because 'You like its games' is a bad thing to say, since each console will probably have something you'll like, and something you don't like.

I like the flexibility and complexity of PC games, I like the graphically intensive awe of Playstation 3's library, XBox is great due to its huge list of games abailable and the Wii's control system gives its games a new depth when it's not being used just as a gimmick to open menus. I enjoy the nostalgia from playing a lot of games I used to play many years ago, and even from the games which I didn't have much chance to play (I missed out on a lot of the games responsible for the birthing of the video game industry because of my young age).

I like them achievements.

I mostly play with my 360, I am on my comp a lot but I don't exactly play games with it... I just read online mangas and watch anime. :3

So, 360 fo meh.

I dunno, maybe where you come from owning more than one console isn't such a luxury, but I'm not going to pay in excess of a thousand dollars for a PS3 and a 360 to get the few games for them that I'm interested in (not even factoring in the cost of the games themselves here) when I could pay that much for a Wii plus more games that appeal to me than the other two consoles have to offer combined.

Tough call, most of my favourite games are on the PC, plus its so useful in many other respects, but gaming is so much more comfortable sat on the couch in front of the TV, so I'll give my ps2 and xbox half a point too.

I do not own a Wii or a PS3, I play each around a different friend's house. :p
