I just started KotOR 2 up not half an hour ago. Coincidence? Probably, but you should start it up also. Come on, give into peer pressure.

I can't help but notice that they cheesed out on the graphics in the second one. I remember the first game having better textures; could've just been my naive eyes though.
The graphics do seem to be worse in the second one. They try to hide it by making the game darker, but it is quite noticeable on any world with color.

Yes, it is quite apparent sometimes; but overall the graphical quality hasn't changed too much. I assume it's because of the small cult following that KotoR has, they did rush the release of the second game.

Yes, what a "coincidence", but we (ex-)Jedi know there are no coincidences, usually. I've been playing since 11:30PM, it's now 4:38. I'm glad I asked the Escapist for help - I probably wouldn't have motivated myself to continue playing KotoR 2 due to the blandness of the introduction (How close I was to the good part, I didn't know! I was in hyperspace, right before all the good stuff happens!)

So, I got rid of the Exchange; both Luxa and the other guy are dead - So I'm not sure how I'll get the Ebon Hawk back. Hopefully the Ithorians will help me with that. I also got rid of the smuggler merchant; who was supplying the Exchange assassins with illegally modified Czerka blasters.

Right now, I'm laughing my ass off at the comical music playing while I'm commanding B-4D4 to get the files from Czerkas mainframe.

I also did some chatting with Kreia and played some Pazaac with Atton. Did some good ol' Swoop Racing; I have the 2nd best time right now. Only 3.41 seconds behind 1st place!

Oh man, the conversation between B-4D4 and T1N1 is hilarious; if my parents weren't sleeping I'd be laughing so much harder!

No, just regular KotoR 2; The Sith Lords. Could you elaborate? Is it a mod?

And, NFS:MW I finished 99% on the Xbox (Rented it when I was a lad), but I got it for the computer not too long ago as it was at a thrift store for $5. I'm thinking of buying the new one when funds allow, as I really liked having cop chases for as long as possible, and it would be fun to have a new storyline and start from scratch.
Ah it's fun to get to introduce people to this =D The Sith Lord Restored Content Mod, which can be found, amongst other places, here, is a complete overhaul of the game, restoring all the content that was cut but left on some of the original Xbox discs (it's a PC only mod though), that makes the game more stable, fills in some plot holes, mildly improves the ending and is generally a small touch of polish that Obsidian didn't have the time to give.

A few pieces of the restored content is a little rough (mainly the M4-78EP but I think that's skippable) but generally it's just a much improved way to play the game. They aimed to only do bug fixes and add things that were meant to be in the game but were cut for time, so you're still getting the original experience.
Ha! I remember the first time I completed KoToR 2; all the endings/clips played at the same time whenever I did anything in the final area. It was well confusing.

Still better than ME3 though.
