Hand-to-hand combat would be the most useful to know in real life. I've never seen Snake do any hand-to-hand outside of SSBB, so I'd go with Altair. He had a few cool hand-to-hand moves, if I recall correctly.

Yeah this is true. Now if Naked Snake from MGS3 (aka. Big Boss) were on the list then I would definitely vote for him. CQC FTW!

Huh, I'm amazed that Batman isn't up there, he's only one of the greatest martial artists in fiction, or Ryu/Ken/Bison/Akuma/insert street fighter character here, stupifyingly enough there are a few characters that even Batman can't beat using all the tricks in the world, Karate Kid and Batgirl (Cassandra Cain) I wouldn't mind having Batgirl's fighting powers, as they have practical uses as well (she can read body language like you read a book, only a lot faster than you can read a book). Out of this list though? Master Chief, he is the most practical fighter.

Mario is obviously the most fun. You kill people by jumping on their heads and crushing them out of existence. Or you just lob fireballs at them, or ride a giant green dinosaur which eats your enemies

Mario, as it would be interesting to fight a fat plumber that can jump high and shoot fire from his fists.

I dont get how Mario can still be fat, he has spent the past 20 or 30 years chasing a princess from castle to castle and playing sports. He should be the pinnacle of fitness.

Then I'd stack the bodies into a dome and launch a flaming barrel at it.

Next I'd try to juggle them as they fall back to earth.

Dante. Who would love to just defy gravity half of the time and being able to swing a giant sword like it weighed just a pound? Heh, also, the guns are just bliss, unlimited ammo and able to keep enemies cushioned on a cloud of bullets until they died. Also he can simply take a sword in the chest half of the time and walk it off.
