Poll: What was the best console of all time?

Gen 5 and 6 were particularly unique for me. I appreciated both because each console from those generations offered something different and something unique that made each one of them worth buying. I could play wonderful RPG games on Playstation, Action/Adventure games on N64 and Shooting/Racing games on Xbox. While I would consider 'now' the golden age of gaming, regarding revenue generated, I would consider Gen 6 the gaming cultural revolution.

Gen 7 for sure, solely because of xbox360.
Gen 6 was okay'ish i suppose, didn't care too many of the ps2 games anyway.
Gen 3 & 4 only with nostalgia glasses on.

Xbox Live, Party Chat, Halo 3, Gears, Lost Odyssey, the controller, the blades version of the dash, the guide button plus all my friends have a 360.

I like Gen 5, it brought us the Medievil games

Whatever Gen the Sega mega drive/Genesis was and ofcourse Gen 6 for the PS2/Gamecube. ^^

Gen 6 had the gamecube, which probably had the best variety in games I've played thus far while Gen 4 had the SNES, which had a great variety as well.

But the current Gen (WiiU) is pretty good as well, but it's only getting started so who knows where that'll end up.

Can I vote for the Gen that PC started? Where's that at?

Generation 8. Because then you can go and play all the previous generations as much as you want, they haven't stopped existing or anything.

But my fave consoles are probably PS2/Dreamcast...

Dead race between Snes, PS1 and PS2 in my opinion as all had bloody brilliant games the likes of which simply isn't being made today.

PS2 is easily the best console ever made in my opinion. Biggest library of quality games by far. Such a great console.
