Valhalla or Sammy, can't remember with of them. Both are good reading and I still read them from time to time.

Spider-Man. I was a fan of the 'Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends' cartoon, and an avid reader. My dad put them together one Christmas.

While it probably wasn't my first, the oldest one I can remember was an issue of Alpha Flight. And it was a damn good issue.

I can't really remember the first one I read, but the first one I owned was the first volume of Rurouni Kenshin. It was a great read, and it's still one of my favorite series.

An old Fantastic Four comic. It was during the time travel point and it confused the shit out of me.

A Pokemon manga when I was incredibly young.

First proper comic would be Watchmen though. I'm just so original.

Probably a Simpsons comic. I used to read those a lot when I was younger.
Probably the latter (called "Electric Pikachu Boogaloo"), since with other comics I was like "Oh hay, look at the pwetty pikshurs [reeding is dum]". Yeah, I was a pretty stupid kid. But actually, I think Electric Pikachu Boogaloo was pretty good. Better, at least, than Pokemon Adventure, which was strangely popular for some reason. I'd love to get back into those if I could.

By the time I got into graphic novels, I was already out of high school. At that point, it was either Watchmen or The Killing Joke that set the standard for me.
