Firefox hogs memory but that's why it's got that lovely save and quit feature for games/photoshop usage etc, etc

That's true. If I'm going to any sites I think might be "iffy", I do use Firefox, no point taking unnecessary risks. Hasn't had an update in months! Which I find strange as there are so many more threats out all the time...
