Poll: What will be the game of the year?

Right now I'm thinking maybe either Skyrim or L.A. Noire though I haven't played either yet.

Skyrim, L.A Noire, and Portal 2 are the games I see getting it the most.

With Mass Effect being pushed back I have no clue. My personal favorite game this year is Dragon Age 2, but it doesn't deserve game of the year nomination, let alone award.

I put other with no particular title in mind. It could be any of the above as well as Arkham City, Zelda, or even Portal 2.

LA Noire deserves recognition, but its nowhere near getting game of the year.

Skyrim, however? TES always seems to get it, like Pixar and the animation Oscar.

Portal 2. Sure it may not be as long as other contenders or have as many features, but it's definitely the most polished, well made, not to mention funny, gaming experience I've ever had.

Skyrim is my second choice.

'The Witcher 2' is my pick, definetly.
Deus Ex won't be a gam of the year because the damn PC version is developed by an outside firm.
Skyrim has potential but I fear it may cause the same effect that Mass effect 2 caused.

Modern military and multiplayer focused shooters like MW3 and BF3, while obviously extremely popular, would never win Game of the Year, and GoW3 is very unlikely too. Skyrim, Portal 2, The Witcher 2, and L.A. Noire are much more likely candidates, with Skyrim probably the obvious choice.

Though I think The Witcher 2 deserves it.

I'm leaning towards MW3 as its a call of duty game and they always sell good. But i'd like to see dead island as a popular game cos it looks fucking amazing! Not the, "oh this is so tense, ahh jeez what was that? OH GOD!!" kinda amazing that we were promised in the first trailer, but still good enough for me.
