Poll: What will be the game of the year?

By who? I mean, potentially each of those games can be awarded the GOTY title by one of dozens of magazines/websites, unless we're speaking about the GDC one. We haven't even seen half of games scheduled for release this year either. I want to see Skyrim, Arkham City, DeusEx:HR, and several others... Still 6 months to go till end of this year.

Portal 2, obviously. Maybe Skyrim, if it's not a bucket of ass and dishwater, as the other TES games have been. Dogs help us if something like Arkham City blows our minds as well as Arkham Asylum did, or an underdog takes the carpet right out from under our noses.

I'd make a guess at Batman: Arkham City. I could almost see L.A. Noire getting it, but I don't think it could pull it out.
Considering Oblivion and Fallout got GOTY...

Like it or not, they're both triple A titles with lots of fans. There's an "other" option, use it.Ghengis John said:
OT: Depends if Diablo 3 comes out this year. If it does, easy choice, if not, probably Skyrim or Battlefield 3, maybe The Old Republic, and if those three disappoint Crysis 2 was pretty awesome.
meh thats a hard one, quality vs. how much content/time put into hte gae, and also considering the genre...
for rpg's thus far witcher 2 has blown me away, i'm loving it, but skyrim may change that, and for shooters i'm not quite sure, between uncharted 3 and GoW3 but i'll keep open for duke nukem and a few others i'm sure

Let us not forget, "The Witcher 2"! Honestly, it needs more content to be a true contender, in my opinion, but should they get some kind of additional DLC out in the next few months before these other games launch that counts in my book!
A lot depends on how many of these titles actually see a release this year, setbacks are not uncommon, not that I'd like to see MW3 and Skyrim pushed back.
