Poll: What will be the game of the year?

The best game I've played this year is Portal 2, so I'll give it to that.
I don't like the GOTY-thing anyway. A puzzle game may feel inferior to an action game to you, but to others it might not. They should be elected as different genres, not as the greatest of them all.

The only thing that matters to me is my personal game of the year. Right now, it's Dragon Age II. But Skyward Sword has a great chance at blowing it away (if it actually gets released this year...ugh). Skyrim has a slim chance, though Bethesda-developed games tend to be very hit and miss at the same time for me. A big world alone doesn't earn my favor.
I'm thinking, Arkham City 3rd, Deus Ex: Human Revolution 2nd, and Portal 2 1st, but on the other hand...
If it goes to Battlefield 3, Modern Warfare 3 or Gears of War 3 I think I'm going to face-palm my face off.
I actually quite like the franchises (well, maybe not so much GoW), but if they beat Portal 2, Deus Ex: HR, or Arkham City, I will be dissapoint. (Assuming Deus Ex: HR and Arkham City live up to expectations)

I will have to say Skyrim, because Obsidian has nothing to do with it this time like they did with the failure NV (Thank the gods). Anyone who disagree's will face Yojimbo's wrath... *Dangles gil in front of Yojimbo's greedy face*.
L.A. Noire is pretty damned good, in my opinion. And it does things that other big title games don't, which is try and make the player think.

But I'd also like to see L.A. Noire get some recognition at least. That game was fantastic, and they took a leap trying to do something new and innovative.

Catherine. My bet is on Catherine. I would say Skyrim, but Disgaea 4 will be more stable at launch so it is my second pick. This is my personal GOTY, by the way.
