In Australia, we still don't have gay marriages, and no R18+ rating, so yeah, I can't do jack shit about the other things, and they are future events, so right now I'm minly worried about the failures of a secular democracy (though apparently we have a 'secular party' that I've only recently heard of, so that brightens my outlook a little).

Canadian here, seems like everywhere I look people are flipping out about climate change. Energy to a lesser degree, but the climate thing seems to be the largest issue.

The federal Government in Canada.

They suck in a lot of money but that money doesn't go anywhere but their pockets.

What makes it worse is whenever i try and get people to do something about it all they ever seem to do is be content bitching.

I'm not talking rebellion I'm talking forcing change and pushing voter turn out past 59% of registered voters....

What most Canadians don't realize is that if ever person who can legally vote showed up and voted, even if all they do is pull a fringe candidate out of the hat, it would cause a power shift taking power away from the big three, liberals the NDP and the conservatives, and causing them to actually have to work for the middle class again. Not the lobby groups....

Alas.... Most people seem content bitching.... Though i will continue trying to convince Canadians to freaking vote.
