I'd try to lure them into a choke point, where they could only come in one by one. Hopefully, it'd be strong enough to resist whatever weapons they have, and they'd be stupid enough to enter it.
If those conditions were met, I'd kill as many as I could, trying to make a body-blockade in the entrance.

But, if those conditions were un-met, I'd go into the middle of them, start fighting, and if I cause enough confusion, get them to start killing people who are not me.

I think the most likely thing that would happen would be me drowning, though.

I figured someone might try something that doesn't involve cutting down all in your path. Be it futile, like trying to tunnel into the earth, or remotely possible, like stealing an enemy's garb and attempting to slip through the horde unnoticed, it's still a chance...

I'd fight! I've always wanted to go in some really epic fashion, and one vs. one thousand is fittingly so (well, it is if you're the one; otherwise, it's just slaughter).

If there were indeed that many, I would apparently be an awesome warrior cause that's the only way that I would possibly have ended up with that many. So I would kill as many as possible in a blaze of glory.

I'd shout a terrifying war cry at the top of my lungs then charge in taking out whatever bastards get in my way. After each one falls i take their weapon and when it dulls or breaks i take another until finally the numbers are so great i get forced into submission and am executed right there on the field
