*sigh* You don't have a "sick and twisted mind". I could post a poll about how many puppies would you kill if you had to kill some, but that wouldn't make me any less level headed...BHoSV said:This poll is a result of my sick and twisted mind. And I'm calling upon you all to reveal your sick minds to me. Please post what you chose and why.
This might work, but there's implications where religion actually does (when not in the hands of colossal morons and extremists, that is) can provide guidelines for how a person should live their lives and treat others fairly.Kiutu said:Destroy Religion. Hopefully it would start a domino effect and reduce and then end discrimination (alot stems from religion) and help people to embrace change and new ways of thinking, and eventually the whole world would be better.
Well it mostly has been providing guidelines on how to be a hateful dick, and really anything can make good guidelines for living.MGlBlaze said:This might work, but there's implications where religion actually does (when not in the hands of colossal morons and extremists, that is) can provide guidelines for how a person should live their lives and treat others fairly.Kiutu said:Destroy Religion. With this in mind, I'd choose to end racism... I'd like to choose the 'create common sense and an actual sense of compassion in people' option, since that would end A LOT of problems, but oh well.
Pretty much... I was raised Catholic, though I don't really care about religion any more. I just follow what I believe to be right; although more implications to THAT are that many people don't really... inform their morals as much as they could. Things they believe to be right may, in fact, not be.Kiutu said:Well it mostly has been providing guidelines on how to be a hateful dick, and really anything can make good guidelines for living.MGlBlaze said:This might work, but there's implications where religion actually does (when not in the hands of colossal morons and extremists, that is) can provide guidelines for how a person should live their lives and treat others fairly.Kiutu said:Destroy Religion. I think, at the end of the day, someone will find some excuse to be a hateful dick, no matter what.
True... of course, that isn't MUCH better, but it is better... a bit.Kiutu said:Id still prefer people hate gay people or whatever because THEy hate them than cause some fake jerk told them to.MGlBlaze said:Pretty much... Religion tends to indoctrinate. Free thinking doesnt.MGlBlaze said:True... of course, that isn't MUCH better, but it is better... a bit.Kiutu said:Id still prefer people hate gay people or whatever because THEy hate them than cause some fake jerk told them to.MGlBlaze said:Pretty much...
