Big difference between sheep anthrax and the weaponized kind. Besides, I think the US anthrax scare was just a threat. Even after eight years of a global War on Terror, they've never found any terrorists responsible for it. The spores used in the attack could have only come from two sources, both in the US. One was a research lab in Boston that kept only inert samples to manufacture a cure, and the other was Fort Detrick, the army's bioweapons headquarters. The man in charge of the anthrax samples at Fort Detrick shot himself a week before he was supposed to testify in the FBI's investigation. Keep in mind that the spores were sent only to leftist politicians and reporters. It may not have been an inside job, but I doubt al-Qaeda had anything to do with it. I would really love to post a source, but I read this back in 2002. It was in a mainstream newspaper, though.Adrimor said:Considering that people normally get it from shearing sheep, and some of them get it IN THE LUNGS and survive, I'm going to say that's irrelevant :V
I live in the United States. I wasn't trying to offend you when I posted that link. These deaths and the 2001 attacks weren't the only anthrax deaths in the past decade. Not every death makes the news. I wasn't at all suggesting they did that with the needles, I was simply saying they died from the anthrax rather than the heroin. I'm not a dermatologist, I once did a research project on anthrax.Adrimor said:snip
