I often ask myself this question while playing video games:

How would I react if this happened in real life?

I played LoTRO for a little bit and when I walked into that maze forest and the trees suddenly attacked me I had a "WTH!" moment. Then I thought to myself: I would totally scream like a 4 year old girl and run away crying if that happened to me in real life.

Or the time I considered what I would do if giant Radroaches (Fallout) popped out of a sewer...
Or if Russian paratroopers suddenly landed in my backyard...
Or if my plane crashed and I got whisked away into a giant sewer city...
Or if Amnesia: The Dark Decent... *shudder*

SO! How would I react if some fantastical situation from a video game happened in real life?

Situation: Dracula's transdimensional castle just showed up hosting a variety of monsters from various mythologies who apparently hang out there for the hell of it.
Reaction: Fuck it, let's go monster hunting. Not as if I had anything else to this Saturday, and I needed to cycle through my supply of AR-15 ammo anyway.

Situation: A bloody as hell Slayer match on a medium sized map centred around a super spaceship thingy launch facility. (Countdown)

Reaction: Knowing that there is no way out of the map, I'd probably run around with my teammates and attempt to die in as painless ways as possible, so that I'm not too...traumatized when I respawn, and get deadified again.

Reaction: Holy hell would I be super pumped to figure that out, I would probably force lightning the entire ship in adrenaline realizing I'm the walking essence of badass, and I have bastila utterly in love with me

so yeah, I'd probably shit myself of excitement.
