I got a wishlist of unreasonable demands for From.
Make sure to add yours as well, you can add reasonable ones I guess.
I won't tell you how to live your real internet life.
Ok I am calm now. I'm going to bed. Speculate below.

1. Current weight load effect Dex modifier for weapons.
It sucks that there is no way to circumvent a stat requirment for a weapon if its dex.
2-handing can enable you to weild a giant dragon tooth but a light armored charecter cannot weild that ladel to its full destructive potential. In Dark 1 before the nerf to haveldads with backflips i always thought it was silly that heavy armor did not effect a persons DEXTERITY at all with their chaos blades..
A defense trade off to enable you to equip weapons outside your league could be nice.
Mix things up abit.
Also..
2. Re-balence armor in general.
Why does the pyromancer set offer no different poison resistance than other armors?
Why do armors *and weapons* have secret effects the game feels it has no reason to tell me about.[northwarder set increasing spell duration].
Ugh its just stupid.
Here is my opinion.
I find that split damage is just way too effective early game.
I can see why From did not want a repeat of the builds that happened in Darksouls 1.
Hell I still have a SL1 wrath in Dark1 that with just the gold-hemed set can take about only 50 or less dmg from my invadees. Stone armor makes that about 10-15 per hit. You were unstoppable.
But now i kid you not by using SM optimization techniques I can get a full set of Havel's armor below 100,000 SM. Now you would think thats more than enough to cheese my unfortunate invadees but thats not the case. Light and certain medium sets will generally have more magic defense then the heaviest gear. Early, Mid, and Late game can be dominated with any plethora of split dmg weapons. [fire longsword, heide knight sword]
It works both ways too.
I have a charecter I called blackout god that by rushing to the fragrent branch can get a Black knight Halberd. Theres enough Twinkle in the game beyond not killing bosses or going to the sunken DLC to upgrade this weapon to +3. A direct hit will melt half a players health, a counter hit has one-shotted for me on occasion. Now add a Spin2Win that will hit a player or one time a whole squad of white phantoms and host and you have yourself a soulnado of soul stealing.
The devalue of weight to defence is just... no.
3. The lack of unique movesets.
They met their goal of having few useless weapons in the game but the movesets have become a tad too copy paste. Its just "Here is [weapon type] good for [X build]." I do like the oddballs like best spear being a [mastodon] halberd or best lance being a [sanctum] mace.
Opinion.
4. What ever fix they do for multi.
Be it a unbroken orb for use or the sin threshhold for a blue to invade being 1 because "I can't think of enough NPCs for me to murder to boost it to 10!" I will be happy.
I think its nothing i have to lose sleep over. B team knows what to do.
5. Fix the damn drop tables on loot!
Hay remember when you had to farm that one-time red near kings gate?
And if you didn't get Durgo's hat you would have to kill the final boss again, go through that unskipable credits and then use that limited bonfire ascetic item? Yeah that was cancer.
Or how about before the iron king DLC the greatbow was the only item you could only get by farming? The drop chances are "unrealistic" at times even with full drop chance gear.
In 1 not only did I not need to worry about drop chance unless farming but I also did not need to juggle LIMITED SPAWNS *foams from mouth*
Just go into the code and say if [blank] item has dropped before decrease drop chance by [blank%] for [blank item]. so the other items in the table have a better chance by not competing with the commons drops.
