I never completed the game and never got the DLC, so I'll stick by my ever-faithful Combat Shotgun. You can blow a group of Super Mutants' heads into paté before reloading, and its great when sneaking fails and you've got things about to smash your head in.

also you only get from a console command:
the mysterious stranger's .44 magnum 9000 damage (almost OVER 9000!!!1 cookie for reference)

In another post I put up, I mentioned hearing somebody yell "DOCTOR OCTAGONAPUS!!! BBBBLLLLLEEEEAAARGGGG!!!" for an air strike in MW1. They arent directly related but another reference that you might link to it.

tough one. Kneecapper/Terrible Shotgun for short range, blackhawk for mid range. Ol' painless for dealing multipurpose and rather ironic pain, Victory rifle for long range, Gauss for very long. trench knife/steel knuckles/vampires edge/butch's toothpick for close combat, silenced 10mm & perforator for stealth. Also just got the Xualong rifle which does the most damage out of any automatic weapon in the small arms (my favourite) class so, that should be cool. sorry, kind of a long post. Guess i'm just picky about how I blow badguy's heads off.

Lincoln repeater, Xuanlong assault rifle and the Terrible shotgun. All small guns, all devastating. Oh and nuka grenades for enemies that have a lot of health.

you know the Heavy Incinerator is awesome when a single soldier can pin you down with it, and be a legitimate threat.

I love the Gauss Rifle.. It's probably the best sniper weapon in the game, at least for me.

I agree with this. While the VATS type shooting for it seem broken, there is nothing more satisfying than shooting a supermutant in the face before he knows your there. Other than that I always used the plasma rifle. Good thing for me, these two have the same ammo .
