Hello friends,

so these 2 are most overrated games of this generation. and by overrated i mean games that score high by critics and praise by gamers too. i can put MGS5 here but it seem like it disappoint many fans so it cant be as overrated as them.

first lets talk about RE2. its not bad game by any means. but its just average third person action game that praise as "OMG masterpeice" when it has bad combat and some lazy design and is chore to play.

Witcher 3 on other hand has nice presentation but its controls and combat are pretty bad.

so friends, imo these 2 are 2 of most overrated games of this generation so far.

which one is more overrated? lets discuss

Neither. Both are awesome games. But I'm not a fan of The Witcher series

just because you don't like something, doesn't mean its "overrated".

Are you sure you're not talking about metro? And yes i'm aware that metro is first-person, not third, but my point still stands

All video games are overrated because of how inflated the scores are; every game mentioned in this thread have higher scores than a classic movie like Ghostbusters.

Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude

Everyone says it's this "masterpiece", but it's just another example of how terrible videogames overall are. It has nothing on an actual masterpiece like Howard the Duck.

While I'm still waiting for RE2 to go on sale (and likely will be waiting for some time), Witcher 3 is probably the best open-world-style game ever made. Yeah the controls are a bit assy (and I will always secretly love the more linear Witcher 2) but the controls are always bad for that style game.
