I'm not too sure, seeing as how they announced a new FF online game [which will just piss off all of the people that played the other one] They can't go anywhere else.
Then again I'm one of the old school guys that likes FF7, ot for the hype, but just because it was the first FF game I played and liked. I think the series should have ended completely long long ago, but what can you do?
Maybe they'll make a live action final fantasy movie =[

There are many things in life I could have gone without knowing, this being one of those many many things. I wish, I could think the dev team to death.

Seeing as FF14 is noting but a repolished FF11 with a dumbed down job system that involved equipping a frying pan if you intend to level cooking. You ever drive a car you own into so many mail boxes or trees that you had to get a new paint job? That my friend is FF14, it was the brainchild of a money-mongering Dev team that wanted the most money for the least amount of work. As long as I don't have to wake up at 5 AM in the morning to claim a blue crab for a belt before the 30 japanese botters do, I'd be content.
