Poll: what's the best star wars game in your opinion

Star Wars: Empire at War. I fucking loved that game when I played it. Playing as the Empire and taking over the galaxy was so fun.

I agree but the raids... THE RAIDS!

God dammit I always ended up spending so much money and time on garrison forces and building up defenses when I could have been assembling invasion forces. And the worst part was that when I did strike, the captured territory made the defenses irrelevant unless I was an idiot and let the Rebellion win a battle. Whatever, as long as I get my Star Destroyer fix >

I can see why Outcast was chosen top, I thought more people here would have picked it, I personally loved it. Had a great story, Luke and Lando, good force powers, an all round well thought out battle system switching between LS and Blasters. Battlefront 2 also gets an Honourable mention from me.

This is a tough one, but I'm tied between Bounty Hunter and Battlefront. It's close, but I'll go with Battlefront. Something about being able to use the droideka (coolest thing evah in that game!) made me feel so awesome.

I recently watched the gt count down (top ten star wars games) and thought to myself "what a load of tripe!" then i realized that their decision for the top game to be Jedi out cast might actually be correct given the popularity of those games so. in your opinion (and i emphasize the word opinion) what is your favorite star wars game? my answer is Battle front, i just had so much fun with those games (both of them).

The first one I played was an FPS called Starwars Shadow of the Empire for the Nintendo 64! That was a Badass game.

Plus there was always Star Wars Bounty Hunter where you get to play as Jango Fett. Other than that the rest was Meh in my opinion.

Yeah I liked Bounty hunter.
But when you say "meh" I have to ask what games have you played because I would argue that KOTOR and Battle front were far from "meh". Plus republic commando was pretty cool.

Jedi Outcast and Episode I Racer are clearly the best. None have ever made you feel more like some arse kicking space wizard dude.

Jedi Outcast was beautifull, battlefront made me wonder why they never made sequels for it, KOTOR was a masterpiece, and rogue squadron was fun....

I loved KoTOR, but ima have to go with battlefront since i loved it to the core of my bones x3

That was a tough decision, but only because you put KotOR and KotOR II as the same option. I still went with KotOR because it's awesome enough to more than outweigh the huge disappointment that was KotOR II.

1. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (not 2)
2. Star Wars: Battlefront
3. Star Wars: Republic Commando
Have high hopes for The Old Republic

I really love X-Wing Verses Tie-Fighter, the Dark Forces Trilogy and Empire At War.
Great games for different reasons.


While KOTOR is a good game, and I really enjoyed that Age of Empires clone from a while back...

XWvTF is just play fun, there's that great 'Ace Combat in space' feel to it.

DFT has evolved from a great 'behind enemy lies Doom clone' into a great 1st/3rd person action game, with some great story to boot.

EaW is easily one of the best 4X+RTS games I've ever played and while it may be fairly simple, I've been able to loose HOURS of time with it...a rare fete for me.

Jet packs ey? There should be more jet packs abroad.
But I would like to point out that there are jet packs in battle front.
Also the sheer quality of both those games makes up for a lack jetpacks.
I'm also not a star wars fan. It's just had so many games a couple by sheer statistics have to be good.

I gotta say...Republic Commando was one of the best FPS's I've ever played, and a genuinely great game. I'd say it's a close tie with Knights of the Old Republic for "Best Star Wars Game"
