Poll: Whats the best system of all time?

Thats the console that bascially laid out the blueprint for all modern consoles not to mention that half of the greatest game franchises ever began with their first release on the Playstation.

Instead we have the Gamecube, which had about two decent games.

You could say this is flawed, many systems have been best at one thing or another but very few were best all rounders.

My vote still goes to Ps2 though cuz it was significantly better than its' rivals at the time and the games still rock!

Star wars battlefront 2 on Ps2 remains my favourite game of all time

Yeah the ps1 laid out the blue print but Ps2 lead the way and revolutionized modern gaming.

ps1 didn't do much different than older consoles, but it was much (like fuck loads I'll admit) better

No, actually the PS did a shitload different and trumps the PS2 easily in terms of innovation. The PS2 is basically the PS1 on steroids

This has been done many times and the mods always ad PC as an option. You really can do more with a top of the range home computer than you can with any console that has yet to be invented. Hey mods, please add PC option.
