One of my friends at the time told me to go ahead and carry though my plan to commit suicide. BAD ADVICE WAS BAD.

"It's always easier to fix other people's problems than your own" from a friend I looked up to as a kid because he's a couple years older than me. This advice is something I actively use to hold my depression in check.

"A way to get in with girls is to like all their status updates". I never followed this, but I do acknowledge the guy giving me this advice is a dick.

It doesn't seem too bad at first, "good things come to those who wait" and all, but in this example I was literally being told that if I sit and wait for good things to fall on my lap. The world doesn't work like that. If you want something to happen you need to do something to make it happen.

Greatest: Always try to prove yourself to others and show them your worth.
Worst: Do your best to find out the best in someone (because we all know that there are a**holes, dicks, whores, and overall bad people that will be nothing more than that).

It's still good advice, I worked as a bouncer for too long to ever want to drink again. There is only so many young men and women you have to carry out of a pub bleeding and covered in there own vomit before you realize being sober was the right choice, and like wise so many Mount Hyjal Raids before you realize you made a wrong one.Chairman Miaow said:
