I haven't bought a game for more than 10 quids in ages, since I'm always waiting for sales. As such, I haven't played any newly released games in forever.

So, I bought a full priced collector's edition for $51.99. I'm not sure whether to vote for the correct footnote or the correct price range.

It was Hyperdimension Neptunia: Producing Perfection, by the way, not a bad game, but very light in gameplay.

The only game I've bought over the last month was Pirates! Gold, which was on sale for about $3 on GOG. I've played or picked up a few more, but they were all free or something someone else bought.

I haven't bought any games in the last month.

Nothing in particular that's come out recently has interested me. I'm mildly interested in Wolfenstein: The New Order, but not enough to gamble $60 on it... especially since it's the type of game that'll likely see a sizable drop in price within a month or two. I can be patient.

But yeah... I've mostly just been playing the Theater of War content in Company of Heroes 2 and another 1.13 playthrough of Jagged Alliance 2 (the Wildfire version, this time).

I'm honestly not really excited about anything that I'm aware of that's coming out this year, except for the Homeworld remasters in December. I want to be excited for Alien: Isolation, but the emotional wounds inflicted by Colonial Marines still haven't healed.

I haven't bought anything in over a month, but at the end of April I got from PSN:

Gex
Spyro 2
Jurassic Park (Telltale)
Red Faction
Red Faction 2
Sam & Max (bundle)
Tokyo Jungle
Crash Bandicoot
Crash 2
Crash 3
Tales of Monkey Island (bundle)

All for 99 cents each. So $10.89 total.

*EDIT* Oh wait, I got Jedi Academy from Steam for $3.39 so I guess that takes it.

Last month? I didn't buy any games last month! ...Or did I? *rechecks "game library"* No, I didn't...

However, in a couple of months, I'm going to be spending $100+ on the CE of Tales of Xillia 2... So, there's that...

The labels is really only meant to be a guide. I was trying to think of a way to explain the categories that could be relative to someone from any country. The interesting bit is 'are people paying standard AAA price for a game, more than standard full price or less etc'. I didn't want to make a poll where Australian people were just buying a normally priced AAA title but voting for the top category because of how much more expensive games are over thee. If you're from the US then I guess it goes in the $45-60 area because Hyperdimension Neptunia is priced cheaper than a big budget AAA title.

If I do this again in a couple of months I probably need a way to make the categories clearer. I'd definitely be up for suggestions on how to do that.

Well I've only bought a couple of games in the last month, but I bought the Limited Box of BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma for £80 about half a week ago. So that's a hell of a lot more than I could afford.
Totally worth it though.

Dark Souls II Collector's Edition. I think that actually might be the most expensive game I've every bought actually. Until Dragon Age III comes out. That one is going to blow Dark Souls II out of the water.

It's only June 3rd and I'm trying to talk myself into getting an e-shop card. But in May I would have spent $5.98 on a clearance copy of Aliens: Infestation on the DS. Thanks to an employee discount I ended up only spending...$5.60...maybe...I'm broke. I'm trying to talk my girlfriend into getting me Deus Ex U and am probably going to have to rely on her if I want Mario Kart before Autumn.

How long ago did ESO come out? About a month, right? Maybe a little more? Anyway, I made the terrible decision of, not only buying the game, but paying about 30 dollars extra for the imperial edition. Perhaps the worst purchase I've ever made in my entire life, or at least in a very long time. Goddamn it, almost a hundred bucks, wasted. Won't ever make that mistake again, let me tell you.

lolll fuck, maybe 9 dollars...I bought a couple of games on origin for 3 bucks a piece, otherwise some EU4 DLC for 9 bucks total.

Seriously, with how often deals roll around on gog/greenmangaming/kinguin/steam/amazon...I have yet to pay full price in such a long time.

That would be Transistor, a game that cost be £15, and is a game that I would recommend. The only reason that I really got it was because I never went to the cinema to watch Godzilla (That sounded utterly disappointing, at least compared to my expectations of such a film) so I figured that I had £10 or so to burn, so I got that game. It was money well spent in my opinion.

The runner up would be Splinter Cell: Blacklist, a game that I got for £6 from the Humble Store during that week long super sale thing. Good game too, I still need to complete it though.

Only game I bought, wasn't gifted, was 'A Story About My Uncle'.

Fantastic game, really surprised me because I bought it on a whim.

$20 (though kinda $15, since I had currency left over from another purchace)
And yes, it was Transistor so I don't regret a thing. I'll pay full price for a game I really want to play. It wasn't until I joined GOG.com did I learn the magic of 99 cent sells.

Latest would be Dark Souls 2, which I got for $70.00 I believe. Or maybe it was $80.00. Either way, shitty Aussie price. It isn't too terrible for me since I very rarely buy games new (usually only one every year, maybe two at most). Most games I get nice and cheap for about $20.00 or so on eBay.

I bought 3 Nintendo 64 games for about $15.

Turok: Dinosaur Hunter
Quake
Lylat Wars/Star Fox 64

I thought it was a pretty good deal.
