I think I have 2 warnings. One for making too short message and other from doing a sarcastic joke that apparently insulted "Everyone in the community including the staff of escapist". Oh well...

I don't like the idea of the forum health meter since, I have gotten warnings from post so old I don't even remember posting them, which i find tad bit unfair. But what can I do, I signed "I AGREE" on the rules.

But 6 months and 2 years is quite long time, longer than I usually spend in a on-line community (Escapist being the expectation now).

But oh well.

You know, while not a bad thread idea by any means (pointing out a new feature, making some people more aware of the thread rules) it is a bit boring to read - most of the replies are just "I have x" or "I've been good, still on 0."

I still had to read the entire thread. The number of people who have gotten warnings, been put on probation and so on is hilarious.

I've had two warnings that I recall. One was because I apparently called somebody a "c*nt" (without the * of course). I don't really remember that but I barely remember any I post after I've posted it so, meh.

I'm fine just fine. The only people I seem to piss off are the ones who hate my opinion, which is ..hm, everyone but mods apparently.

I dunno which forum I posted on but I pissed someone off so bad because I said the Sega Genesis is better than the PS3 because with the CD and 32X upgrades it has 3 power cord adapters which is far more power than the PS3 has. Pure rage in a fanboy can. Best way to shut up fanboys is stupidity diversions I think.

Wow. More than 1 in 3 people here have been wrist-slapped (or worse) by the moderators. Either this crowd is a badly behaved bunch or the mods here are among the most heavy-handed on teh interweb.

Theres's actually a very specific reason why I opened this thread (in fact, this is my first thread with zero discussion value). I found a guy complaining in another thread that if mods continue with their draconian measures, there would be no users left in the forums. A mod replied that people with high infraction rates are really a very small part of the overall traffic. I wanted to verify that statement. Seeing the poll, apparently it's true - and that's not even counting the thousands of people who visit the site without registering or visiting the forums. But it also shows that most of the people with clean records don't tend to post much, which is why I guess I tend to see familiar faces so often during discussions.

You may say the more... 'emotional' posters like me have overestimated our values in the forums. ;)

Clean. I only ever attack arguments, not people, and I behave in a generally acceptable manner. I am not one for direct confrontations, and the idea of angering a mod scares me a little- this is why I also behave at school. You won't see me talk in class during a lesson, no, sir.

...Plus, hey, badges for good boys and girls.

Well, which is why I said most, since I've come across way more people saying they have low post count than people with Neo badges.

Now, disagree with me here, and the value of your Neo badge goes down. :p

Edit Edit: Level Zero Model Citizens, don't take me too seriously calling you 'noobs' - it's partly as a joke (thus putting the term 'leveling up' in quotations) and partly to make all those who have been 'Probed' to feel better about themselves.
Who said anything about being 'probed'? :p
Hey, don't joke about our traumatic experiences. The Escapist mods tend to go rather hard on our asses.

Four green segments...

"Warnings: You have received as many warnings as one account is allowed. Any further infractions will put you on probation"

Oh dear.
