Three warnings, one just one from a misunderstanding and one just plain stupid. One probation, it was stupid and unjust. And then two short suspensions, both fair but one kind of inconsistent.
If they counted all of them, I'd be one mark from a banning I guess. They still do count all of them, just not on the bar.
If they counted all of the ones I deserved and did what they promised and not have warnings actually affect anything then I'd be much lower.

Making the bar public was a stupid idea. It was also stupid to then put me on permanent probation.

I'm squeeky clean. And, as you can see from my "Gone Gonzo" I'm no noob.

I try to be polite to everyone, even if I disagree with them. It's served me well.

I have a clean record and I've been posting regularly for half a year. I hope the meter stays that way.

I am sitting at a solid Level 0, which I guess makes me a clean noob?

I anticipate that I will accidentally be putting my foot in my mouth very soon.

I got a warning for either a low content post or calling someone a dickhead, not sure which. If it was for the dickhead comment I'd just like to say that he deserved it and in return I guess I deserved the warning.

2 warnings, though I'm trying to get one repealed... interesting how apparently 82% of Escapists have no infractions, yet at the time writing on the poll that number is just 53%. Guess that's because the people who post more (and are more likely to be on right now) are also more likely to have infractions :p

I'm on probation and I don't even know what for. I think one time I got warned for posting a joke in a joke thread....

The general problem with moderated forums, and this isn't Escapist specific, is that no matter what the written rules are the reasons for moderation always degenerate to "anything that annoys a moderator." Then some of the rules are so general that anything anyone posts can fall under that category.

Examples:

"I disagree and I can't comprehend how anyone who is reasonable could hold that opinion"
Flaming

"I don't like chocolate milk"
Trolling

"Poop smells bad"
Offensive

"I HATE Mondays!!"
Rant (used to two exclamation marks and excessive caps)
------
The quote that sums it up best "If you give me six lines written by the hand of the most honest of men, I will find something in them which will hang him."

One thing that the escapist is refreshingly honest about is they link to people's warning and suspension posts.

Level Zero, which isn't that big of an accomplishment considering my so far low amount of posts.

I'm currently level 2 after two warnings. One from two years ago, and another from a few months ago. I was at level three, but there was an error in the system that they fixed.

Only 2 warnings (one of which i didn't even know i had, as i only have one warning notice in my inbox)

Still, haven't had another warning for ages now, doubt i'll be getting another anytime soon either.

I got an automatic warning for writing an all caps post, but it a question about Brian Blessed, and I did give my opinion on the topic. Oh well, totally worth it.

"You have a clean record. Excellent job, citizen!"

Then again, you can still file me under "noob" apparently.

You have a clean record. Excellent job, citizen!
Yay for me?
I don't feel that the rules are that difficult to follow here. Particularly low content. From what I've seen don't post:
"wait... what?"
"lol"
"first!"

A picture without at least a couple words.

This all makes me think of when I worked in a jail and how the inmates would complain that it's impossible to stay out of jail.
Kinda makes you seem like you're whining 'it's not my fault'

Clean.
And in what universe having a clean record equals being a noob? I've been here waaaay longer than the OP. Less posts, but that's because I shut my hole when I don't have anything to contribute.
