Depends where ya live. It's a very, very different beer before it gets put on ice and shipped to the US. Not saying it's the greatest stout ever, but it's a good one when stored and served properly (stored room temp, served on nitro, chilled
while serving). I've had the advantage of previously being stationed in Europe and vacationing in the UK, though. They really do ruin the stuff shipping it over here.
But yeah, in bottles... worst.stout.ever.
For me, lately I've been into rye whiskey. I've been drinking Old Iverholt, despite there being better ryes out there for only a little more money. *shrug* I guess I just like the history of the stuff.
I used to claim good beer as my drink of choice, but that's only in bars. Haven't been hitting bars for awhile, and even the best beer turns a little bit... meh... when you bottle it.
