As a huge fan of the series I was playing it with a good mate of mine today and we had a discussion and came to the agreement that 2 was the best mainly because this was the game that introduced me to the series and I had such huge enjoyment from playing and many fond memories of setting monkeys alight that no game could replace it not even the next in the series yes it was probably a better game but the memories of 2 were to great to be replace by more game play and shinier graphics is this true for anyone else?

I've never owned any of them, just played them at some friends houses. I enjoyed it though as it had a commical play of time travel :D

I've not played the first one but the other two are amazing and hilarious fun. Timesplitters 2 was awesome and probably one of the games that made me want to play games more, and Future Perfect was everything but better. Sad thing is Free Radical, the developers, are in massive trouble at the moment so any sequel is probably not coming out soon. Let's hope someone good buys them and brings us Timesplitters 4.

Timesplitters 2 allowed my brother and myself to put our differences aside and work together for once, go co-op.

I feel sorry for you, you'll never play TS 4.

Haze (game) may be bad, but at least KoRn made a good song for it.

Only played Timesplitters 2 and I was bored with it pretty quickly. Didn't have a second controller for multiplayer.

The multiplayer aspect was great in my opinion I also played it with my brother it was one of those games that you just didnt wan't to put down and when you had done the story there was always the challenges which were great fun and multiplayer.

2 was the best.

Funniest, longest, hardest, best level design.
The only FPS's I can think of with better level design are Perfect Dark and Half Life 2, that's how good it is. Didn't have any of that signposting crap that Future Perfect had either.

As long as the games have Badass Cyborg in it i will love them.

My overall favourite however would have to be the first one.
I don't know what about the original i like so much that the others don't have.
Then again i haven't played 2 or the original in years so it may just be nostalgia talking.
Anyone know where i can get good copies of 1 and 2? I've been searching for years and just can't find any.

I really cannot decide between 2 and 3. They were both so brilliantly done.

Two seems to be my favourite, as is originality struck me most out of any FPS for the PS2. Future Perfect, well you can't complain its not a good good game, but its just tried to hard to be better when all it is, is more of a copy. 100% on both, damn it was hard some of those challenges =P

I really enjoyed Timesplitters 2 the most. Future Perfect just didn't have good weapons, at least not compared to double tommy-guns or db shotguns.
