Any South Park episode where Randy is a major character.

Because he's awesome.
You said it. Most like Butters the most but for me Randy is the absolute best

I like more than a few of the shows Adult Swim hosts like "Home Movies", "The Venture Bros.", and "Metalocalypse". I'm also a fan of "King of the Hill" and watch it all the time on Adult Swim.

Since we're talking about adult cartoons there's one I've been trying (and failing) to remember the title of. The show was about guys in college and I think 3 of them went to one school and their super-nerd friend went to another though he'd frequently webcam-chat at them or something like that. I only recall seeing it a few times, on TBS or TNT, I think. I know it's not too much to go on but maybe a fellow Escapist can help me out.

Out of the list, I would go with Futurama. I love the Venture Bros. as well. Honorable mention goes to the already mentioned Mission Hill.

Edit: "That's not an astronaut, it's a TV comedian! And he was just using space travel as a metaphor for beating his wife."

Cowboy Bebop, and not just among animes or cartoons, but all kinds of television series.

Was it the show Undergrads from MTV?

Futurama. I haven't watched that much South Park or King Of The Hill, Simpsons hasn't been funny for ages, and Family Guy's jokes and cutaways are to random for me to find particularly funny.

Futurama by far. I love Family Guy when it first came out, but it seems aged now and South Park just seems like a giant piece of flame bait for everything at this point.

Metalocalypse...DEATHKLOK RULES!!!
Honorable mention Aqua Teen Hunger Force & South Park (remember the WoW spoof, hmm?..)
Speaking of Liquid Television - Any one remember the five minute Aeon Flux awesomeness at the end?!
Yes. Do you remember the ending? She falls into a chair where someone sucks on her toes, apparently for eternity.
Holy Crap!! Totally forgot about that. Way to pull one out of ol' memory bank of mine. That was after she betrayed her friends for the head bad guy that she was infatuated with. Now that I think about it that cartoon was pretty loaded with a lot of prevalent s&m context. Speaking of twisted adult content about the female mind: The Maxx anyone?...

I'd say The Simpsons/Family Guy/South Park... but they've been going downhill for a while now, so instead, I'll say The Venture Brothers, The Boondocks, and Futurama.

Of course i love simpsons and watch them know since at least 14 years, Futurama is great and i am happy that its back, southpark got even better over time but still, still i prefer Family Guy, i love that kind of random humor. Thats why Robot Chicken is one of my other favourites.
