Poll: Whats Your Favorite Battlefield Bad Company 2 Class?

When I went into the Demo for this game I expected to be sucked into the Assault Class because in every other FPS I have loved using the Assault Rifles, it didn't happen. Instead I fell in love with the Medic Class who I see as a class for every situation. It can be used in long, short, and mid ranged combat effectively, and can support other team members very well. I also am partial to Recon, because who does not like sniping people?

I'm still crap at the game though, whatever class I pick. Assault gets me killed most as I charge in but Recon bores the hell out of me. Sitting in a corner waiting for someone to run by is not my idea of fun.

I've only played the demo but out of that I would say Recon. C4, a motion sensor, and getting a head shot from 200 yards away that is my kind of game.

I'm best at the assault class and enjoy playing it, but the feeling of landing that one impossible shot as a recon is pure bliss.

Engineer. I love taking down vehicles, repairing my own vehicles, the UZI, and taking down enemy squads with the M2 Carl Gustav.

I like to play as assault the most, even though I die alot using it I find it funner than sitting around sniping.

I'm one of those bastards than runs around bombing out of windows with c4, and sneaking up on tanks.

I gotta stick with engineer because not only is blowing up enemy vehicles fun, it's a massive help to the team. I've gone on major killing sprees in tanks both light and heavy where one more enemy with a rocket launcher would've won their team the game since my tank WAS the front line.

Assualt- for when i run out of ammo i can always refill, imagine using the M14 or G3 without the assault class, ammo would be out in a minute.

Engineer- I used to begin with, i just like submachine guns and shooting down helicopters

Medic- I just..dont use it

Recon- Cant snipe i only get sniped... For shame.

Medic because it's so overpowered. A machine gun that's even accurate at long range, infinite heals, and 50 points for defibing dead teammates. Talk about racking up on the points.

Honestly, I love the medic class in general. That's all I play now in Team Fortress 2, my favorite class in both Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 2, and even my character in Dragon Age Origins is a healer. I like all of the classes in Bad Company 2, just medic is my favorite. I mean, I love sniping, using the grenade launcher, and using a rocket launcher, but the medic is just my favorite hands down.

It all depends on the situation, as well. I mean, if your team is being rushed by tanks and helicopters, the engineer would obviously be your best choice. Sometimes I just want to rush in and shoot everybody up, then I would play engineer. And sometimes I just want to relax and gain a bunch of points, then I would play recon. Depends on the situation.

I like recon because well, i like to be the recon guy. I don't usually aim for high points or k/d ratios, im the guy that finds some nice spots and gives our troops as much info as I can. Also try to get close so i am a useful spawn point for my squad. I will now and then be the anti-sniper and take out other snipers, or enemy that are pushing us 2 hard, but that results of me then moving from my spot and finding a new one! (cause anyone with half a brain knows you never kill from the same spot twice as a sniper, if you do your asking to be shot)


And the medic LMG are way over powered, and the engines AT weapons are more useful at sniping than the freaking snipers... they need to kinda fix this a bit lol

I dig using the 12 gauge slugs on any class. Usually though I use it with the assault class so I can refill my own ammo.

depends on which map I am on if it is vehicle heavy I go engineer, but if it is infantry heavy I go with Assault.

I like being a medic. It feels nice to be a hero and save people while being shot at by half of the enemy side. I'm pretty good at it as well. I don't get allot of kills, but I do get allot of points from revivals. Heck, with a couple of guys that can support and protect me (while I revive and heal them) we could kill allot of bad guys if my fellow soldiers are half descent shots.

I find most of the classes fun though. So I try to play as different classes.
