Poll: What's your favorite Final Fantasy magic system?

Very simple question, which system of learning and using magic is your favorite?

It's either Espers or Materia for me

I had to vote draw magic/junction I found the junctioning system confusing at first, but once I understood it became alot of fun to mess round with, though until you get the refine abilities, draw sucks balls

Materia for me.
it's just so simple and easy to use.
and you can put them in weapons
and switch them around whenever you want

Well seeing as the only one I actually recognize by name there is Sphere Grid... I recently started playing FF10 again, but seeing as I never had a PS1 and don't own a DS or PSP I seem to be missing out on one of my favorite series. Can't wait until XII on 360.

My favourite was always the sphere grid.. I don't know why.

Well, considering i jumped in on the final fantasy series at FF VIII, i really liked the junction system

sphere grid man! I made my kimari a melee powerhouse by having him go through Auron's sphere grid.

FF9's system where you use the magic/abilities on weapons/armour/accessories and learn them after a certain amount of battles.

I liked the Esper system of FFVI myself. It let me teach everyone the spells I needed.

Either the Esper system as it's easy to teach magic to everybody, or IX's system with skills on weapons.

6 made you learn spells permanently after you were done with an Esper.

9 had something similar with items.

It's a bit of a grind, but it's worth it.

License Board on FF XII was pretty easy to use, and i liked the gambit system overall...
