I don't like ranged weapons. I always pick bwtween two long swords & one bastard sword. & if their are no swords then I'll go with daggers & crowbars.

rapiers are always useful, though I don't know if they make ones that are actually sharp. Probably something along the line of an estoc but longer, plus some knives for extreme close range.

May I recommend the Italian Schiavona. It has the aesthetic of a rapier and the practicality of a bonified war-sword. Slices, cuts, and thrusts.

I mostly prefer Bastard swords but pistols are cool because they're light weight and easy to hid. Revolvers most of all, if my avatar wasn't obvious enough.
