I always liked yellow, the way pikachu followed you around and refeused to evolve, awww, it almost killed me whehn i traded his ass away so i could evolve the little shit.

I'd have to say first gen (red & blue) but the Leafgreen/Firered remakes are a close second and Heartgold/SoulSilver are tied for third with third gen. I love all the pokemon from all games prior to 4th gen.

GSC, Best set of Pokémon, colourful, story was good, made you feel proud, let you visit Kanto, face Red and didn't go over the top with it's new Pokémon. HG and SS have made me feel 6 again but still doesn't have the magic Gold and Silver had though it does come really close.

HeartGold and SoulSilver. They upgraded my past favorite games and made them better in almost every way.

I'd say GSC. it had a decent amount of pokemon without getting over the top.

And my Rhydon, and Nidoking can learn Flamethrower and Thunder ^_^ which is always a shock for my friends who think they have already won ^_^

Nice, although im pretty sure that nido could learn thunder as early as rby and rhydon with flamethrower in crystal.
