Well about an hour ago I was trying to load up the Left For Dead 2 pre-order demo. It just wouldn't do it, I got an error every time I tried to load the main menu. I silently raed for awhile before looking for a solution.( works now, good game)
Usually I get angry at my computer(it has many many problems), and end up turning it off for like a week.

I usually consider it a sign that I ought to move on to other activities. I have been annoyed that in several games of DoW II my game has crashed either on the verge of victory or when the fate of the match was still up in the air. That game never seems to crash when I'm getting my head kicked in and would appreciate an excuse to quit.
When a game crashes for me the next moments are generally filled with a fury of wrath and expletives (mostly in my head) followed by me restarting and rushing through back to where I was I the game. On a sidenote, When the unreal 3 editor crashes after I've spent hours working a level, people die.
Eh, I reload the game, continue where I started and see where it goes then. I usually kind of rub my face in a disbelieving manner, but in the end I'm a sucker for punishment as I keep doing it till I'm absolutely positive it's giving me the cold shoulder.
At that point I call the game a whore and leave the room as I slam the door. I crawl back to it later in the night though and beg for its forgiveness. It usually accepts and then the cycle will begin anew in about a week with a new game.

I usually quit for a while then come back and try it again. If that doesn't work, I rage quit with swearing ensuing. But then again, my PS2's probably been dropped off my bed enough times it's become a bit of a 'tard. For example, recently it's been going through these phases of it needing to be held a certain way in the air to even get the disc spinning.
These days I tend to quicksave like a mofo, so I never run into a moment when I lose too much of my progress. Still, it happens, and it's annoying most of the time.
Only 10 minutes? The first time I played Metal Gear Solid 4, I thought the game auto-saved so turned it off when I had to leave. Later on that night before I went to bed I was curious because I never remembered any auto-save signs. So I quickly browsed through my save files on the hard drive and guess what!
