Poll: When you see that Yahtzee is reviewing a game you actualy like, What do you do/think?

Well... mostly I just dread it, but that's depending on how much I liked the game. Pour Example:
I dreaded the MGS4 review.
I loved the Bioshock 2 Review.
I liked these games immensely, and so, it depends, but by like, you mean like, and I LOVE MGS4, so I would say second poll choice. Good for a laugh.
Calumon: I played Yahtzee with Terriermon once. He's a real bad loser.

Oh goody, can't wait to see how much he rips on the game. I watch his reviews just for fun. If he skull-fucks a game I like I just laugh at the comedy he creates so it doesn't really matter to me what game he reviews.
I wonder if our observations will have anything in common. After watching his Bioshock 2 review I can safely say, yes.

My opinion is very much "well, let's see wot he says", considering that his reviews have little-to-no bearing on my game purchasing intentions.
At most, they will cement a preconceived opinion/notion that I had about a game, but they have never influenced a decision to play or not to play a particular title..

I think it'll be funny.
I don't take his reviews as any seriousness. I watch them for the comedy aspect though he will occasionally have good points.

Tack on "feeling of dread" to the beginning of this process, and you've got how I feel about it. If this seems odd, consider that I'm not confident in the final part of the process, but that my experience does show that's how it goes anyway.DistinctlyBenign said:

I find it amusing that he often points out what I don't like about my favourite games anyways. They're still my favourite games, he's just made all of my frustrations into something I can laugh at, and take heart that I'm not the only one who sees these problems or quirks. Unless I don't agree with him, wherein I try to sympathize, and, failing that, laugh at the foolish notions thus presented.
I disagree strongly with him on a couple of games (GTA IV and Saints Row II Spring to mind) but I always watch his reviews since I enjoy his reviews and usually agree with him in most areas. He's a good barometer of whether or not I'll like a game, even if I prefer a more realistic game to our antipodean friend.

Hit or miss. I agreed with him on everything he said about Valkyria Chronicles, Dante's Inferno, MGS4, and Brutal Legend. I disagreed with him about Demon's Souls.
i always think: "but that game is sooo awesome :O ... ah well, Yahtzee is awesome too so it doesn't matter" 
On occasion, he will point out some of the same stupid shit I see in a game I love, and I will laugh out loud. For instance, the when the members of your party in DA talk to you about how much they've come to love you whilst covered in leftover bits of darkspawn. I think he used the term menstruating leopard. Yes, that was good.
