I love this. He usually criticizes the things that bugged me in the game but which did not keep me from loving it. I enjoy his reviews much more when I have played and enjoyed the games myself.

Look at The Conduit review. Wrong in every sense of the word. There were options to tweak the controls, and he never gave it the time of day in the review.

Should be amusing.

I's entertainment, not really bothered how he feels about any title.

I love it. Like others have said. He is a Critic, His job is to tell you what's wrong. Not what's good. No one can tell you what's good. That's up to you to decide. If you can't do that for yourself. Then there's something terribly wrong with you.
If nobody can tell me what's good then nobody can tell me what's bad, either.

I watch it, and I usually agree with some of his points, but after that I usually just say, "Yahtzee, you have no taste in games anyways. So suck it."

I watch it expecting some good times, and to watch a game I like have it's snagging points exposed. For example, I like Bioshock 2. I also found his review hilarious and on the mark. I rarely feel like I've been insulted if he doesn't like my game of choice. I handle it like Lebowski has taught me to, by responding with "Yeah, well, that's just, like, your opinion man."

I don't let it effect my judgement, though I like it for the lols, and also it gives me a different perspective on how others think of the game, so when I talk about it at work I say what I've heard as well

At first I disagreed with his Darksiders review and then thought to myself, "I had fun with it. What does it matter if he doesn't?" And you guys do realize he does these review for laughs right? And to educate developers on the dangers of QTEs. I also realized some of his jokes were hilarious.

Most games he reviews I don't like anyway. In fact I think the only one which I like is the Theif series.

Even though he's right on many occasions, I don't get bothered by the things he points out. So I just sit and think "Oh, you silly Brit."

He has hated plenty of games that I genuinly love, although I note that he has never reviewed ratchet and clank (and thank god for that). sometimes he is right and there are major failings to games that I like, but that doesn't make them any less entertaining.

In the end he's just one guy with an opinion and an outlet for his voice. He has no more or less "expertise" then anyone else reviewing games. The ultimate reviewer is the consumer.

So take that yahtzee (please do not review any ratchet and clank games, thanks.)

His Fallout 3 review got me to play it. I too enjoy stopping time and blowing super mutant's heads off over and over again.

One of the things that strikes me about his reviews is that it appears he always gives the games an honest try from beginning to end rather than just playing the first level and reviewing from there. And the fact that he is dead on insightful in his reviews to the point of prescience always helps. I also like how he always points out the negative aspects even if he likes the game because that is the sign of an honest review.

If you still watch Zero Punctuation as a review then I only have one thing to say about that...

Well, isn't that cute.....BUT IT'S WRONG!

OT: Yahtzee is for the lulz, nothing else. Though I will admit if he says a game is great, I have to check it out.

Yahtzee said it best himself

"Do you really need someone else to tell you wether something is fun or not? Why not roll over so they can stomp on the other side of your face."

Don't know about the rest of you, but i like it when flaws in a game get pointed out to me, gives me something to blame other than my ineptitude when i get killed!

I love watching his reviews, just because I don't agree with him in some instances doesn't mean he doesn't make a valid point. Example, I like playing Valkeria Chronicles or however you spell it, and I do find it rather ... cliche ... I mean seriously they might as well had named the enemy "Bermany" or something among those lines, maybe even name the side you fight for "Roland" or something that sounds like Poland! That and of course the tradition JRPG BS with Mister Angsty McAngsterson and Miss Naive Scarlet woman! I guess I am going a bit far with my response but I do like to hear what other people say about the games I like and if they like them, well hurrah! If not, well everyone has an opinion! Either way at least Yahtzee can put up a valid point to why he doesn't like something or if he does! Rather than resorting to saying it plays like a loaded pile of ____ shoved up a Buffalo's arse horizontally. No offense meant towards fans of James Rolfe, after all he is fun to watch too.

I don't take it as a review as much as a rant.

He has built up to the statement that people hate it when he is nice to a game. I think it is true to an extent.
