No way! Australia does or did (I've been in the dark for a while) have some pretty shitty restrictions, and they still get their hands on games, although they are limited and late. I bet the gaming industry would jump ship to Canada or Europe, make you guys all theb est games and modify them to be allowed to be sold all retail-like in the US.Aerowaves said:What's a "yabby"?Creator002 said:Australia, mate. I'll be back in a minute. I gotta get my yabby off the barbie.
OT: I suppose it falls to us non-US types to be the cheerleaders, and remember; what affects the US games industry will have an inevitable effect on us international types. There'll be less of an incentive for developers to produce gems like Bioshock or Assassin's Creed etc. if profitability going to be thus restricted in the US....and stuff like this will set a dangerous precedent for other countries to consider.
