It is the greatest country in the world, and that's why I like it. And anyone who disagrees is a communist bastard backed by the leftover Soviets from the Cold War.
That, or one of those damn democrats. Which is worse then being a commie.
*sigh* who let the tea party people in here?

Anyways, my dad is from America and my mother is from one of those "commie" places. Guess I am half and half. People like Radeonx make me wish I was living somewhere else though..
EDIT: I live in Missouri. If anyone cares. I know a few people on the Escapist are from there.

Australia. I like it cos the weather is generally pretty nice, and you can drink when you're 18. Not that I drink, but it just makes more sense that way when you're also allowed to join the military at 18.

Really trying not to bring up all the things I hate about Australia, tho.

i dont know what to vote for the poll ;( i was born in bristol, lived in japan for 7 years and now live in bristol again. i dont want to say europe cause i hate it, even though i probably should vote for it. i dont like anything about where i live currently. i like japan because of the open air hot springs and sakura trees and the thing that they produce more of than america that i should not talk about because it is a sensitive matter. and it snows there :p

I'm in North America, Canada to be specific. I was born in Montreal, Quebec and I now live in Edmonton, Alberta. The former is way better than the latter.

I'm from North America. Michigan to be more specific. I live in Arizona, though. I don't mind it except for the summer, and the fact that most people assume we're all like the idiot politicians who make our stupid policies.

United States, specifically Michigan.

Putting that I'm from Michigan is key. The United States as a whole sucks massive cock, but certain areas have, at the very least, decent human beings that understand a fair amount in the way of human liberty and have the intelligence to form a coherent thought.

That is, Michigan values education far more than many other states, and also has a VERY low number of religious nuts/creationists. As a man of science, this is good news. I weep for much of the rest of the country.

I have two unrelated friends that live in Arizona but grew up in Michigan or at least lived here for awhile.

Are you, by chance, named Alex or Tad?

Neither, sorry. I was only born in Michigan. Parents moved here when I was still little for health reasons, so I grew up here.

The part of Canada where mother nature wants to go Rambo on our asses, Muskoka. Playing the invisible rope during tourist season is fuckin hilarious, and whats not to love about Canada 1st world, universal health care and most other countries opinions of us are good.

(and it's a lot better then being considered American)
