If I recall correctly, all four of mine were impacted. At the same time.

They didn't really give me any trouble to be fair, but the dentist insisted they had to be removed so they were wrenched two at a time. Didn't give me any problems.

Now compare that to the night I woke up in what I can only describe as mortal agony as one of my teeth decided it wanted to try wrenching itself away from my face with an abscess... yeah. I was very close to wrenching the little bastard out with a pair of pliers.

Two of my wisdom teeth have fully come through, one has partially come through and my top right wisdom tooth has never come through. I hate wisdom teeth, so so much.

I only had the top two thankfully, but I got them taken out when I had to get four other teeth removed to start braces... Yea, that wasn't fun at all. They gave me vics for the pain but all they did as put me to sleep so I stopped taking them and went for good old Advil. Took me a week for the swelling in my cheeks to go down and four days before I could open my mouth more than an inch.

The top two are right behind me on a shelf somewhere, the bottom two are still in my jaw.
The pain from having them removed is highly exaggerated by most people. It sounded like every tree in a forest was getting crushed simultaneously though.
On a sidenote, I didn't realise people actually get put to sleep for this procedure. I just got a local aneasthetic, which was actually the most annoying part of the whole procedure including the first couple of days after removal, because for about an hour after the injections it felt like my tongue was swollen and sliding down my throat.
